Regulations is an act of controlling, as well as a law, rule, or order. Regulations are intended to
promote the flexibility and efficiency with which laws are implemented while Ordinance is a
statute or decree. Municipal governments have the authority to enact ordinances on topics that
the state government permits to be governed locally. Their commonality is both of them are
laws.
For example of Ordinance, the law about parking here in Polillo enacted by the Municipal
Government of Polillo.
A good example of Regulations is Environmental Protection.
