PROJECT PROPOSAL

Title: Conducting Backyard Gardening

Introduction: Backyard Gardening is the act of turning an outside space into a productive and
functional area by making a home for your plants. It is one of the best way to lessen your stress
and to lessen your groceries. It is a great hobby because this hobby can supply a family with a
fresh fruits and vegetables.

Statement of the Problem: This proposal is a free service of gardening where the space in the
backyard will turn into a very usable space for plants.

Objectives:

✓ Lower the cost of buying vegetables and fruits of the family.

✓ Saves time and money for not going to the market.

✓ To provide a freshly environment in home.

✓ To enhance my knowledge about gardening.

Project Proponent: The proponent of this project is Ms. Xyn Ashly S. Villanueva, a 19 years
old first year college student of Southern Luzon State University - Polillo with the course of
Bachelor in Elementary Education, living in Brgy. Pilion Polillo, Quezon.

Date and Venue: To avoid the loss of plants, will spend 30mins every early in the morning and
30mins every afternoon, everyday. Every Friday 6:00am-7:00am and 5:00-6:00pm in Brgy.
Pilion Polillo, Quezon.

Method: Develop the backyard by cleaning the space and taking care of the plants and by
planting another veggies. Water the plants every morning and afternoon.

Materials/Resources: The materials were gardening tools like dulos and watering can. Plants
and seeds from my mother's garden in Ilaya.

Expected Output: To harvest a fresh vegetables while learning more from it. I am also
expecting that gardening will help me to become more responsible, creative, nutritious and
improve my Health and Fitness.
