Press Note: Pyramid College organised E-Symposium on National

Youth Day
January 12, 2021; Pyramid College of Business and Technology organised
“symposium on National Youth Day” to commemorate the birth anniversary of
the great Indian youth icon swami Vivekananda. The Keynote speakers of the
symposium were: - Mr. Mandeep singh , Ms. Ramsangzuali , Mr. Mohit
Bhardwaj , Mr. Jasvir Singh, Mr. Deepak bhalla
To Commemorate, Mr Mohit Bhardwaj, JR. Researcher in Spirits, Niagra
College Toronto Canada highlighted various distilled spirits including whiskeys,
bourbons, tequilas, mezcals, vodkas, gins, fruit-based spirits and liquors. He
also gives new understanding of career and business opportunities in the
distilled spirits.
Mr. Mandeep Singh, CEO My Ancillary Agency (MAA), stimulate the students
during the webinar to be creative and develop their talents. He said that young
students should focus on developing their entrepreneurial skills- having guts,
taking risks and being responsible. Moreover, the focus should be on skills that
benefit the youth no matter which career path they take.
Ms. Ramsangzuali MTS tourist Officer, Tourist Department Government of
Mizoram, shared her personal experience and create awareness about the
tourism and hospitality sector. She also explored career opportunities and the
sub-sectors within and distinct profiles/jobs it offers. Moreover, students have
completed the examination are welcomed to join.
Mr. Deepak Bhalla, Deputy CEO District bureau of employment and
enterprises, DC office, Jalandhar discussed the financing ideas through Govt.
schemes. He also shed light on immigration process of Various countries as the
youth of Punjab is more inclined towards foreign countries for studies as well
as settlement. He pointed out that brain drain in youth as one of the major
problems in country like India.
Mr. Jasvir Singh Career Counsellor District Bureau of employment and
enterprises, DC Office, Jalandhar enlightened students about career
counselling and various career options for students. He also guided about
funding for entrepreneurship: bank finco, Mudra scheme and other various
govt. schemes with the subsidies.
The Symposium ended with the formal vote of thanks by Dr. Vivek Mittal.
Addressing the students, Pof. Jatinder Singh Bedi, Chairman PCBT said that the
symposium shed light to nurture more talent in young minds. Ms. Sachleen
Bedi Vice president PCBT, expressed that the motive of these webinar is to
motivate students and support the creativity, entrepreneurship education among
students. Dr. Vivek Mittal, Director PCBT expressed that such programmes
initiate more self-depended for the youth and enhance the skills of entrepreneurs
