Press Note- Programming Week conducted at Pyramid College

Phagwara,4th march 2022; Information & Technology department of Pyramid College of

business and technology organized “Programming Week” from 28th march to 1st April. The
purpose of this event was to enrich programming skills for students and it was an ideal
platform for the students who wishes to pursue education on a self-learning pace. All the
students of IT department participated in this event with enthusiasm and zeal. BCA VIth
semester students were divided into two teams. First team was comprised of Navjot singh,
Vishal Saini, Diksha, Ekta and Anjali. Moreover, second team was comprised of Ravi,
Rajkamal, Pankaj, Neha Rajput and Anjali Devi. BCA IInd semester students were also
segregated into three teams. First team included students- Mehakdeep, roopak, Khushneet,
Surbhi. Second team- Prasoon, Navpreet, Natashu, Ashish. Third Team – Bhupinder, Sham
sunder, Bamdhana, Guramrit, Tarun and Rahul Shah. Students of BCA VIth semester were
given knowledge about various programming languages- C, C++ , computer graphics, logical
Circuit designing and IInd year students of BCA were given detailed explanation about Web
designing using PhP. The Programming week was conducted by the College faculty members
of IT department and it was concluded with the certification to students.

On this Prof. Jatinder Singh Bedi, Chairman PCBT motivated the students to go with learning
through such events.

Ms. Sachleen Bedi, Vice president PCBT said that this event provide exposure to students
and opportunities in the campus.

Dr. Vivek Mittal, Director PCBT said that it is a proud moment that college has conducted
the event which not only help students to gain in-depth knowledge but also during their
placements.
