‫ِبُظ ُه وِر الَّنِبي َاْحَم ْد‬ ‫َظ َه َر الِّديُن اْلُم َؤ َّيْد‬
Zhaharad deenul mu-ayyad, bi zhuhoorin nabee Ahmad
The supported religion has appeared,
by the emergence of the Prophet Ahmad

‫َيا َهَناَنا ِبُم َحَّم ْد َذ ِلَك اْلَف ْض ُل ِم َن هللا‬

Yaa hanaanaa bi Muhammad, dhaalikal fadlu minallaah
We are in bliss due to Muhammad,
this is nothing other than grace from God

‫ِبالَّس ْب ِع اْلَم َث اِني‬ ‫َم اَلُه ِفي اْلَخْلِق َثاِني ُخَّص‬

Maalahu fil khalqi thaanee, khussa bissab’il mathaanee
There is no other creation like him,
he was specifically gifted the seven verses

‫َوَحَو ى ُلْط َف اْلَم َع اِني َو َع َلْي ِه َأْنَزَل هللا‬

Wa Hawaa lutfal ma’aanee, wa a’layhi -anzalaLlaah
And he embodied their subtle meanings and Allah revealed unto
him (the Quran)

‫ِم ْن َم َّكٍة َلَّم ا َظ َه ْر َأِلْج ِلِه ِاْنَش َّق اْلَق َم ْر‬

Min makkatin lammaa zhahar, li-ajlihi inshaqqal qamar
When he appeared from Makkah, for him the moon split in two

‫َص ُّلوا َع ىَل َخْي ِر اَأْلَناِم َاْلُم ْص َط َف ى َبْد ِر الَّتَم اِم‬

Salloo ‘alaa khayril -anaami, al Mustafa badrit tamaami
Praise to the Best of Creation, Mustafa, the full moon

‫َص ُّلوا َع َلْي ِه َوَس ِّلُم وا َيْش َف ْع َلَنا َيْو َم الِّزَحاِم‬

Salloo ‘alayhi wasallimoo, yashfa’ lanaa yaw maz ziHaami
Send prayers and peace upon him,
he will intercede for us on the crowded day
(Day of Judgement) 32

Maula ya salli wa sallim da iman abadan
O my Lord send peace and blessings for always and forever

'ala habibika khairil khalqi kulli hi mi

Upon Your beloved, the best in all the creation

Muhammadun sayyidul kaunaini wa taqalain

Muhammad is the master of two worlds and two beings (humans and jinns)

wal fareeqaini min arabin wa min ajami

And people from among the Arabs and from the NonArabs

uzita fillahi lam tuhzam wa lam tahini

Nothing deterred you, no defeat and no loss

hatta guadat ummatul Islami finnujumi

Untill the nation of Islam was set among the stars

Habeeb-Allah Rasool-Allah Imam Al-Mursalin

O Beloved of Allah Messenger of Allah Leader of all the Prophets

saraita min haramin laylan ila haramin

You travelled from one sanctuary by night to another sanctuary

kama saral badru fitajin minazzulamin

As travels the full moon through intense darkness

wa bita tanqa ila anil ta manzilatan

And you kept ascending until you reached a position

min qabikaw sayin lam tudrak wa lam turami

At a distance of two cubits as had never been attained
nor has been sought

I envy the sand that met his feet

I’m jealous of honey he tasted sweet
Of birds that hovered above his head
Of spiders who spun their sacred web
To save him from his enemies
Men and women
I envy clouds formed from the seas
through him found grace
That gave him cover from the heat
To seek together God’s noble face
Of a sun whose light
I envy the cup that gave him drink
could not compete
His thoughts that helped us all
With his, whose face
to think
did shine so bright
To be one thought that passed
That all was clear in blinding night
his mind
I envy sightless trees that gazed
Inspiring him to act so kind
Upon his form completely dazed
For me this world is not one jot
Not knowing if the sun had risen
If I could simply be a thought
But felt themselves in unison
From him to God throughout the ages
With those who prayed, and fasted too
As revelation came in stages
Simply because he told them to
I pity all who think it odd
With truth and kindness, charity
To hear him say there is one God
From God who gave such clarity
Or he was sent by God to men
His mercy comes in one He sent
To hone their spirits’ acumen
To mold our hearts more heaven bent
It’s pride that blinds us from the sight
I envy all there at his side
That helps good men to see his light
Who watched the turning of the tide
He taught us all to be God’s slaves
As truth prevailed and falsehood fled
And he will be the one who saves
And hope restored life to the dead
Humanity from sinful pride
Muhammad has God on his side
So on this day be blessed and sing
For he was born to grace our Spring
With lilies, flowers, life’s rebirth
In a dome of green like his on earth
