PLEDGE OF COMMITMENT

WE, the stakeholders, Barangay Chairpersons and Municipal Inter-Agency

Committee Members in the Municipality of Marihatag commit to adopt, support and
institutionalize the Community Driven Development (CDD) approach of the
Department Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), because it has been
proved to be an EFFECTIVE STRATEGY in ensuring development prioritizes
through responsibility over resources and inclusive localized decision making.

Furthermore, we commit to sustain the development process that is gained from

KALAHI-CIDSS by upholding the principles of Participatory, Transparency and
Accountability (PTA) among the community volunteers who are duly empowered for
efficient and effective local governance.

We are affixing our signature here to prove the veracity of the foregoing
commitment and campaign for the continuation and sustenance of the CDD.
