ARTICLE MAY

SOURCE:
https://edition.cnn.com/2021/05/13/health/cdc-mask-guidance-vaccinated/index.html

The article is about US politicians and doctors who have announced that fully
vaccinated people are not obligated to wear a mask indoors or outdoors or even follow social
distance excluding some circumstances. Dr. Rochelle Walensky declared that the time has
come when we can slowly normalize our lives and live like we did by pre-covid times. She
brings up studies in which it is shown that the vaccine was 97% effective against
symptomatic Covid-19. Nathless the doctor warns people who have weak immune systems
to discuss with your doctor before resigning from wearing a mask. Also Dr Walensky says
that the requirement to have a mask while using public transport is still current. Most
importantly she cautions against not vaccinating because it makes it difficult to return to
normalcy and is a threat to others because you can easily spread a disease.
My personal response to this article is enthusiastic. It makes me smile to read that
we can go back to normal life. It gives me hope that the covid-19 will be finally no threat to
humanity.
