PREFACE

Thank you for using Hongtai cutting machine HT-G30T~300T series automatic
cutting machine products.
This manual will mainly introduce the installation and wiring, functional
operation, fault diagnosis and elimination, and daily maintenance of the electrical
parts of the HT-G series to you.
To ensure correct installation and operation, please read this manual carefully
before installation and use, and please keep it properly.
The company does not assume any responsibility for the damage and safety
problems caused by incorrect installation, commissioning, and use.

Safety and Precautions
(Please read before use)
Before installation, operation, maintenance, and overhaul of the machine tool,
please be sure to read this manual and related materials thoroughly and use it correctly.
Please use it after you are proficient in the knowledge, safety information and all
precautions of the tubing machine.
In this manual, the severity of safety precautions is divided into “Danger” and
“Caution”.

In addition, even Caution the matters listed in the column may have
serious consequences depending on the circumstances. Therefore, any important
content recorded must be strictly observed to protect the machine electrical equipment
from potential damage and ensure your personal safety.
1. Notes on handling and installation

Caution

⚫ When handling the product, please use the correct lifting tool to prevent damage.
⚫ The ambient temperature of the electrical equipment of the machine tool is in the
range of 0℃~40℃, and the average temperature in 24 hours does not exceed
35℃, and the relative humidity of normal operation is in the range of 30℃~90℃.
⚫ Do not place equipment that can generate high-frequency radiation (such as
microwaves, ultraviolet rays, X-rays, lasers, etc.) near the machine tool and
electrical cabinet, so as not to cause interference to the machine tool and affect its
normal operation.
⚫ The power supply of this machine tool is 380V, 50Hz three-phase four-wire
power supply.

Danger

⚫ The wiring should be constructed by professional electrical engineers, otherwise


there is a danger of electric shock!
⚫ Please strictly follow the standard requirements for power distribution lines and
power supply, otherwise there will be danger of electric shock and product
damage!
⚫ Please ground correctly according to the standard requirements, otherwise there is
a danger of electric shock!
⚫ Only after the external power supply completely cut off, then can installation,
wiring and other operations be carried out, otherwise it will cause electric shock
or product damage.
2. Precautions for startup and maintenance

Danger

⚫ Please confirm whether the voltage level of the power supply is consistent with
the rated voltage of the product; whether the wiring position of the incoming
power supply line is correct and pay attention to check whether there is a short
circuit in the peripheral circuit; whether the connected line is fastened. Otherwise,
the product may be damaged!
⚫ Please do not touch the terminals when the power is on, otherwise it may cause
electric shock and malfunction.
⚫ Please read the manual thoroughly and fully confirm the safety before operating
the machine. Misoperation will damage the machine and cause accidents.
⚫ The external power supply must be cut off before cleaning and the addition of
terminals. It may cause electric shock when the power is turned on.
⚫ The electrical equipment of the machine tool should be repaired by professional
technicians, and the power switch should be cut off before repairing to avoid the
risk of electric shock.
⚫ When users use this product, please do not modify the structure and electrical
control parts of the product, otherwise it may cause equipment failure and
personal safety accidents.

Caution

⚫ Make sure that the cabinet door is closed to prevent a large amount of gray layer
from entering the cabinet, otherwise it may cause a short circuit between
electronic components.
⚫ When the product is not used for a long time, in order to prevent the loss of the
user program in the programmable controller, please replace the battery every 3
years.
⚫ After the product has been placed for a long time (more than three months),
before using it again and during regular inspection, the motor insulation
inspection should be carried out. During the insulation inspection, the motor
wiring must be separated from the circuit. It is recommended to use a 500V
voltage megohm. Table, should ensure that the measured insulation resistance is
not less than 5 megohms.

Adopt anti-noise processing technology


Different from the cutting machine control software developed by general
manufacturers, the unique on-site noise processing technology and interrupt control
technology are used to achieve high-precision blanking effect; at the same time, the
hardware integration is strictly controlled to avoid interference, metal dust, avoid
vibration, the failure rate of electrical equipment is extremely low.

Ease of operation
Different from the domestic traditional blanking control software, after starting the
system, the operator can complete the system setting without adjusting any
mechanical structure and position switch after setting operation; at the same time,
only need to complete the setting of several parameters. After that, the formal
processing operation can be carried out.

New technology upgrade application


During blanking, due to strong vibration, it may cause a short interruption of the PLC
hardware module, which will cause the die to fall out of control, thereby damaging the
grinding or shortening the service life of the die. Therefore, the key data filtering
processing is done on the PLC software in the future, so that the system can
automatically compensate for the loss of control caused by vibration.
The high-resolution encoder is used to control the cutting depth, and the cutting depth
is fine-tuned linearly in units of 0.001, which is accurate and stable, avoids the impact
of blanking speed fluctuations and affects the blanking accuracy, and greatly improves
the service life of the die; at the same time, the software built-in Blanking
out-of-control die protection program, automatic alarm for feeding overload.

Instructions

1. Machine operation process

1、Turn on the main power supply (in the electric box), turn the power supply emergency stop
button, and the whole machine is powered on.

2、Press the "Enter System" button on the touch screen to enter the next page.

3、Press the "oil pump start" button on the touch screen to start the oil pump motor. At this time,
the upper platen of the machine will move once to find the far point of the work.

4、Press the "parameter operation (A area operation)" button on the touch screen to enter the
working parameter screen.

5、Set the die:

a、The operator places the die to be used in the center of the feeding platform. (Note: When
setting the die, the blanked items should not be placed above or below the die holder)

b、Press the "die setting" button on the touch screen, the setting indicator light will flash at this
time.

c、Then press the "pull plate forward" button on the touch screen, at this time, the feeding
platform will send the die into the punching area of the machine, and the upper platen will
automatically drop until the die pressing stops.

d、After the upper platen stops pressing the die, press the "setting reset" button on the touch
screen to complete the setting operation. At this time, the setting indicator light is off, the upper
platen rises, and the feeding platform returns.

6、Trial cutting / blanking

a、The operator places the material to be punched on the die edge of the feeding platform.

b、Press the "rising height", "cutting height" and other buttons on the touch screen to adjust the
working parameters.
Note: The interval value of each addition and subtraction of the cutting depth value
should not be too large, otherwise the die may be crushed! And after setting the die, the
cutting value should gradually increase from small to large until the punching is qualified.

c、The operator presses the "two-hand operation" button, and the machine enters the blanking
process at this time.

d、If the blanked product is unqualified, the value of "cutting depth" can be modified.

3. Die installation and adjustment

1、On the oil pump start and stop interface, press the "manual operation" button to
enter the manual operation screen.
2、Press the "Activate Operation" button to activate this screen, otherwise the
function operation buttons in this interface will be invalid. (After the manual
operation interface is activated, the external buttons of the machine are invalid).
3、Place the die to be installed on the drawing plate, press the button of "jog forward
on the drawing plate", and send the die into the cutting area.
4、Adjust the height of the cutting platen by pressing "Pressing plate jogging up" or
"Pressing plate jogging down" on the screen, so that the cutting platen is close to the
die, and then use a clamp or install a screwdriver to fix the die on the cutting platen.
5、After the installation is complete, press the "Release operation" button to release
the activation state of this screen.
6、Press "Return" to return to the start and stop interface of the oil pump.

4. Query of fault alarm

When the machine's fault alarm buzzes the alarm, the fault point can be inquired
from the screen, to quickly find the cause and eliminate the fault. (Picture 4) Press the
"Fault Display" button.

1、When the thermal overload relay protection of the pull plate motor or oil pump
motor is activated, press the reset button of the thermal overload relay to reset after
troubleshooting.
2、If it is the "overload protection action" after troubleshooting, and then press the
"overload reset" button to reset, the buzzer stops alarming. (If this happens often, and
the die you use is large and there is elastic cotton next to the knife edge, so that the
setting of the die height is not in place, you can appropriately increase the overload
protection value.)
3、If it is "Inverter Abnormal", after eliminating the cause of the fault, it can be
restarted and reset.

Instruction:

1、The set value of the rising height is based on the height of the working area of the
high die and starts to ascend. Even if the height is set to "0", the ascending height of
the platen is also at the slow point of the working area of the high die (Fig. A). At this
time, the rising height of the working area of the low die (Figure B) is invalid.
Therefore, when the height adjustment is set in the parameter setting of the
man-machine interface, the height setting of the AB area is the same parameter.
2、The purpose of the above design is to prevent the high knife mold from colliding
with the knife mold due to the rising height of the pressure plate when it enters the
working area.
3、Note: When only a single working area is used (as shown in area B), when the
height setting cannot adjust the height of the low-pressure plate, you must set the
height of the non-working side (area A) to be lower than the working height. One side
(area B in the picture) can adjust the height of the low-pressure plate.
4、Since the input range of the ascending height is “0~60”, it may appear that the

value above 30 will cause the pressure plate to reach the highest position. This is
because the machine depends on the time to control the ascending height when the
machine ascends. When the pressure plate rises to the upper limit switch the
maximum travel time is less than the set ascent time value.
