WARNING: Before removing any valves/plugs/hoses/accumulators/pressure switches etc, make sure to bleed
off all accumulator pressure by pumping the brake pedal until there is no pressure left and then do the same
for the pilot circuit by turning the key on/engine off and moving the hydraulic control levers until there is no
more pressure in the accumulator. Accumulators hold high pressures in the hydraulic system and serious
injury may occur if removing components under pressure.

WARM MACHINE ONLY

1. . Connect a gauge to the pressure switch port. Pressure here fluctuates from 1900 to 2200 psi for the 180D and 2300 to 2750 psi for the 250D .
Should take about 40 seconds for it to do it. If it bouncing fast, the accumulator for the brake is toast, see accumulator test below. If pressure is
out of range, check the strainer filter hiding inside the long fitting that supplies the cutoff block from the pump (if equipped) then go to step 2
2. . Crank the brake system cut off valve all the way
3. . Adjust brake pressure relief valve to 2460 psi (180d) or 3050psi (250d)
4. . Back out the brake system cut off valve, adjust to 2200 psi (180d)/2750 psi (250d) and watch, it should slowly drop to about 1900 (180d) or
2300 250d) in about 40 seconds then climb back to the starting pressure.
5. . Now tap in to port PP, you should see the pressure slowly cycle from 500 to 700 psi (ish), if not go to step
6. . Crank in the RCV system cut off valv
7. . Adjust RCV system relief valve to about 1000 psi
8. . Back out the RCV system cut off to 700 psi, it should slowly then drop to about 500 or so then climb back up to 700ps

If your machine is unable to reach these specifications, you will need to put a flow meter and ball valve on the pump outlet line with a pressure
gauge on the pump side of the valve. Slowly and CAREFULLY close the valve and watch your pressure and flow (remember you have no relief
valve in the circuit this way. If while you are closing the valve your pump is able to hit the max relief pressure at the rated flow rate, your pump
is good and you have a bad cutoff valve component (relief/cutoff valve/block cracked)

Brake Accumulator Test:

You should first make sure the above pressures are correct before doing this test.
1. Start machine, idle it for about a minute, make sure the brake warning light goes out.
2. Turn the engine off and key back on with engine off.
3. Pump the foot brake. You should be able to pump about 10-20 times before the brake warning light comes back on. If you only get 2-3
pumps, the accumulators for the brake (A1-A2) are toast. If you only get 5-10, they are basically done for but still kind of working, at least
10 pumps before you wouldn't worry about it but spec is over 20 pumps, 30 pumps is not unheard of.
