Globalisation has had an impact on my country

Globalization has helped countries around the world to connect with each other
and develop their economies and cultures together, helping each other on different
issues Examples of goods from partner countries will be prioritized in terms of
price both for each other. This essay will show how Vietnam has been affected by
globalization and the reasons for it

Food is the most noticeable change. Before 1980, Vietnam did not import food
from other countries, so most of the food produced by Vietnam was not enough to
supply the entire population, and also not be the variety in the foods. Therefore,
Vietnamese people always face the situation of food shortages. For example,
people have to eat rice mixed with sweet potatoes or rice without meat or fish
dishes. But now, the food has been much richer. Fast-food chains such as KFC,
Jollibee are quickly opened so that people can enjoy dishes from countries around
the world. Supermarket shelves were filled with foreign products such as cherries
from Australia or salmon from Japan. Since then, people have been able to
change their meals continuously and ensure adequate nutrition. To achieve this
great change, In 1980, the Vietnamese government made an important decision
which is to open the door to importing and exporting food from countries around
the world. Vietnam exports and imports a variety of foods from countries around
the world.

Vietnam's economy has also been affected by the globalization process. Vietnam's
economy in the 1980s was mainly agricultural. The people are mostly farmers with
only a few workers in small state-run factories. However, Vietnam's Agriculture has
developed more slowly than other countries because Vietnamese farmers mainly
work by human power and do not have modern machines. Now, Vietnam's
economy has developed very fast. People switch from agriculture in the
countryside to industry in big cities thanks to the fact that big companies like
Samsung and LG have opened large factories in Ho Chi Minh City. Thanks to the
government, it has seen great potential when Vietnam has millions of
underemployed farmers and this will be a great opportunity to attract companies to
open production factories in Vietnam because of the high cost. cheaper than other
countries. This can also boost the country's economy because Vietnam can collect
a part of the fee when ships from other countries import and export goods from
Vietnamese ports.

In conclusion, this essay has pointed out the problems that globalization has
