Subject DIVISION TRAINING OF SCHOOL PAPER ADVISERS


ON CAMPUS JOURNALISM

Date 30 July 2018

'1. The City Schoo,s Division of Cabuyao will be holding a Division Training on Campus
Joumalism for School Paper Advisers (SPA) in accordance with Republic Ac1 7079
otherwise known as Campus Joumalism Act of 1991. This will be held on August 17-
18, 2018 at ALS Hall , Cabuyao Central School , 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

2. This trwo -day training aims to:


2.1 enhance the skills, knowledge and attitudes of the School Paper Advisers
on campus papedng
2.2 calacilale SPAS on effective school paper management that is
publishable standard
2.3 increase their level of competitiveness in various forms of competitions.
3. Participants to this activity are both public and private elementary and secondary
school paper advisers ( English and Filipino ) and Division personnel ln-charge of
Campus Joumalism.
4. Participants are advised to bring laptop, exension cord, and school publication.
5. Eacft participant shall be charged a registration fee of three hundred pesos ( Php
300.00) chargeable against school paper/local/canteen fund to cover honoraria and
incidental expenses subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
6. Attached to this Memorandum arc lhe executive committee and matrix of activities.

7. lmmediate dissemination of the Memorandum to all concerned is eamestly desired.
