I learned in class that the term "globalization" could describe how all aspects of modern social life
are interrelated on a global scale. One of these domains is religion, which includes a personal and
structured system of religious behaviors (Brazalote, 2022). Filipino citizens' lives are vital since their
beliefs are based on religion. I want to discuss the international religious organization in this paper;
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization devoted to eradicating injustice, poverty,
Evangelical leaders founded World Relief in the 1940s to provide food and clothing for World War
II victims, and it eventually grew to provide aid to those in need worldwide. Today, Haiti is the site of one
of World Relief's major humanitarian projects. They have been linking people like us to the greatest
needs in the world for more than 75 years and in more than 100 countries, allowing us to show
compassion to millions of suffering men, women, and children. They have been bringing about change
that will endure for years to come as well as today (Turnbull, 2010).
Their accomplishments are, with the assistance of 75.000 volunteers who are actively involved in
reaching their communities, World Relief has assisted around seven million beneficiaries. Aiding 42,000
devastated and displaced individuals, World Relief responded to the Rwandan genocide in 1994.
International aid assisted war victims in Croatia and Serbia during the Balkans conflict. In 1997, World
Relief launched "LifeLoans", a microfinance initiative offering lending services to 34,642 marginalized

Different ways in which globalization has impacted religion. It set the ground for the emergence of
religious nationalism after World War II. Nationalism was intimately linked to religious ties and views.
One country where this is the case in the Philippines, where the government's adherence to Christian
law is fundamental.
