NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION

Accomplishment Report
July 2019

Nowadays, being healthy and sustaining healthy lifestyle is a great challenge. This is now
a major climb every individual must conquer amidst crossroads of many food choices.

Thus, the Department of Education wholeheartedly support in building a healthy nation.

The school plays a vital role in instilling discipline to every learners not just having a right
choices in life but also loving “LIFE” itself.

Furthermore, Nutrition Month Celebration with the theme “Kumain ng Wasto at Maging
Aktibo, Push natin ‘to”, is the basic requirement to be healthy amongst the complexity of
students’ lifestyle.

To achieve this, the Sawang National High School joined the annual celebration so that
the students will be reminded that good health habits and eating right kinds of food are of great
importance.

The celebration was started by a parade with all the students and faculty teachers and
followed by a short opening program and welcomed remark from Mrs. Zeline Z. Mamenta, Head
Teacher I. It was followed by reading of different activities and their venues and schedules from
Mr. Jay Chyrel C. Molina, Head Teacher I and TLE Coordinator. The audience was entertained
by an intermission number of the selected students of each year level.

Moreover, different activities/contest were conducted weekly starting with Feeding

Program (July 01 and July 03, 2019), Nutri-Quiz, Slogan Contest and Poster Making (July 10,
2019), Market Display and Cooking Contest (July 24, 2019) and Nutri-Jingle and Mister & Miss
Fit as well as the awarding of certificates to the winners (July 31, 2019).
