Segregate
Barangay Old Cabalan Group 3
I. Introduction

Old Cabalan produces a lot of waste compared to other barangays since it is one of the barangays
in Olongapo City that contains a large population (Old Cabalan, Olongapo Profile – PhilAtlas, 1990b)
and also contributes a lot of waste that does not segregate properly.

The majority of the streets in Old Cabalan have a huge quantity of waste because of lack of knowledge of its
People when it comes to proper segregation. The project aims to widen the knowledge of barangay
residents about proper waste management, especially in segregation to help them to achieve cleanliness
and orderliness, just like other barangays in Olongapo City.
This session will
primarily focus on
how individuals will
obtain the necessary
information and
how they will use it
in their daily lives.

Do people in your community and schools know about your program?
Does the community generally have a
Because our community members are still unaware of our plan, we are developing our agendas for how it will be
implemented for the residents of Barangay Cabalan. (WOI)

We have an idea for carrying out this strategy, and we'll generally come to an agreement to determine whether it
makes a favorable impression on our target audience. (WOI)

In order to achieve our target outcome, we must be on top of everything, especially plan implementation, so we are
aiming to implement our plan positively. As members of the community generate waste, our attention is primarily
focused on those who do not know how to properly segregate, especially in the case of purok or per outposts with
untidy environments. (WOI)

Given that everyone produces waste, including people of different races, everyone in the community should be
included in this plan. (YES)

We also need to ensure that everyone will practice proper waste disposal. We are currently putting our plan into
action in order to make it successful and give us satisfying results. (YES)

Given this task, we really do need to gather more information, particularly since our plan is deficient when it comes to
knowing the sources of Barangay Old Cabalan. (WOI)

We are writing the barangay letters to ask for their permission to gather more information to support our plan. (YES)
We regularly present our work to the class and provide updates to show the progress of our plan as we
participate in our subject dev comm and comm-plan. (WOI)

In our youth, we participated in numerous successful recycling campaigns, and we want to replicate that
success with our current waste-separation proposition. (WOI)

We have developed a plan that will involve the public as we get ready to implement the project. (WOI)

So, in order to be relevant and have a positive influence on the public, we are doing what we can. (WOI)

In order to educate people about proper waste segregation, our group plans to raise awareness of it.
Currently, we are still searching for a sponsor who can help us raise the necessary funds for our project, but
we are already looking for volunteers. (WOI)
