ETO REVIEWER

by Engr. John Frankstein Imperio

Push Button-switch normally open
- maintain the selected position as long as the
switch is activated

Push Button-switch normally closed

- circuit is closed when the switch is in its initial
position. The circuit is interrupted by pressing
the push button.

Limit switch Normally Open

- The switch will allow the current to pass
through once it is actuated.

Electronic Time Relay

- are constructed to delay
armature motion on coil energization,
de- energization, or both.

Motor Contactor
- large relay, usually used to switch
current to an electric motor or
another high-power load. Large
electric motors can be protected
from overcurrent damage through the use of overload heaters
and overload contacts.
Rectifier
- converts an oscillating
two-directional
alternating current (AC)
into a single-directional
direct current (DC)

Pump Unit
- supplies a constant
volumetric flow. The
operating pressure is
limited by the internal
pressure relief valve.
The pump unit has two
tank connections.

Solenoid Coil
- is to convert electrical energy
into mechanical energy to
supply linear motion.

Timing Relay
- is a type of device
that can control power
flow in a circuit by
using an
electromagnet.
Photo Diode
- used in safety electronics such as fire and
smoke detectors.

Resistor
- limits or regulates the flow of electrical
current in an electronic circuit.

Avalanche Diode
- Used to protect circuits against damaging high-
voltage transients.

Fuse
- opens a gap in the circuit, which
stops the flow of electricity and
protects the more expensive
components from damage.
