I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Ms. Andrea Pauline Pelaez, the Regional Council
President.
The meeting was attended by the Regional Executive Officers, Regional Associates, Regional
Council Advisers, and Local Chapter Executive Officers of the National Federation of Junior
Philippine Institute of Accountants – National Capital Region (NFJPIA-NCR).
As most of the Regional Council members were present, a quorum was duly determined and
declared. The Regional Council President stated the agenda as follows:
The Regional Council President, Ms. Andrea Pauline Pelaez explained the federation logo,
name, mission, and vision. She also presented this federation year’s general plans of action
titled “#TRANSCEND”.

The 26th Regional Council branded the federation as Pahamaya. It is a word coined from four
Filipino words: Paalabin (To ignite), Paham (Excellence), Alpas (To break free/ transcend),
and Hiraya (Aspirations and dreams). The combination of these words translates to a goal of
“igniting visions towards transcendent excellence.”
VISION
MISSION
The NFJPIA-NCR Pahamaya Federation will hone the fellowship and solidarity, culture of
academic excellence, socio-cultural awareness, moral integrity, leadership, and adaptability
of JPIAns through transformative events and opportunities.
The Pahamaya Federation named their General Plans of Action as #TRANSCEND which
stands for:

• 2nd REBM and 4th REBM ft. SOCA
• NCR JPIAlympics
• NCR Project Binhi: Climate Action
• NCR Debate Open

• Prepare JPIAns for the corporate world by conducting career webinars and events
• Assist and reach out to all local chapters within the region
• Support and strengthen the four districts (N, E, W, S) of NCR
• Kickstart Project (to aid Local Chapters with regards to their membership process)
• Membership Program (to train local chapters in creating events)
V. CALENDAR OF EVENTS
The Regional Council President, Ms. Andrea Pauline Pelaez briefly introduced the calendar
of events for the Federation Year 2022-2023.

2. Wait for a confirmation reply for the availability of your requested date and time.
3. Afterwards, accomplish the NFJPIA - NCR Zoom Rental Request Form and Agreement
form that will be sent back to you.
4. Once accomplished, a Billing Statement shall be given and payment must be settled
a week before the scheduled event to secure the slot by sending proof of payment.
Any bank charge or fee will be shouldered by the requesting party.

5. Once paid, the zoom link will be given together with the Acknowledgement Receipt
and some reminders.
6. Opening of the Zoom Meeting on the requested date shall be coordinated in the
same email thread hours before the Event.
7. We highly encourage Zoom Rentals and Reservations 1 to 2 weeks prior to your date
and time requested.

platform for the members of
Literary and Arts Festival November 5 - 6, 2022 NFJPIA - National Capital
Region to showcase their
skills and talents in the field of
literature, different forms of
arts, and elocution.
The Greatest JPIA Show
(TGJS) is a non-academic

members of NFJPIA-NCR. It

NCR Debate Open March 25, 26, April 2, 2023 opportunities to its members
who excel in public speaking
and to improve their oral
communication and
argumentation skills to help
the members in preparing
for the corporate world.

of Project Binhi.

The Regional Vice President for Membership, Mr. Gabriel Vryan C. Cordova discussed the
local chapter information sheet, membership fee and its breakdown, requirements and steps
for membership application/renewal, and brief information regarding the Kickstart Program.
Local Chapters are reminded to create a copy of the Information Sheet sent by their

KICKSTART PROJECT
The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – National Capital Region
(NFJPIA-NCR), aiming towards the promotion and protection of the welfare and interest of
accountancy students, seeks to redeem and to extend support and assistance to these
affected Local Chapters from all four districts of NFJPIA-NCR. The qualifications for this
program are as follows:
