Nervous System
The nervous system is generally the primary communication system of the body and
controls all body functions by taking in sensory inputs, processing the information, and finally
communicating. The basic unit of the nervous system is the neuron which acts both as a sensor
and the communicator. The primary functions of the nervous system are getting the sensory
information from external sources, processing the received data, and responding to the stimuli
appropriately. Without the nervous system, an individual will not be able to take in data from
external sources, neither can the individual respond actively to the external stimuli. The system
guides an individual's daily activities such as waking up, breathing, and complex tasks such as
thinking, reading, feeling emotions, and remembering. The body has very many nerve cells, and
all neurons have different tasks related to where they are located.
The world health organization report majors with neurological disorders are growing due
to extended aging. The report shows that neurological disorders are increasing with a significant
percentage in the population of most countries globally and therefore aims to create awareness in
the global health community in all countries worldwide (Diamandis & Aldape, 2018). The world
health organization report concludes that neurological disorders are the main challenge in many
countries worldwide. Ideally, an article by Tim Newman states that although many scientists
have studied the nervous system, three are very many secrets that are tied to it. According to
Tim, brain functionality is supported by nerves such as the retina, optic nerve, olfactory nerves,
and the olfactory epithelium (Tim Newman, 2017). Tim, in his article, states that the brain is the
central control of the body and controls all of its functions and makes a conclusion that the
Both the world health organization report and Tim's article were written with the larger
community as the audience in mind because both documents aim at feeding knowledge of the
nervous system to their readers, make them understand how the system works, and also suggest
possible ways to maintain the standard functionality of the nervous system, however, the world
health organization major on neurological disorders while Tim's article majors with making its
reader understand more of the functionality of the nervous system (Tim Newman, 2017). Tim's
article and the world health organizations were written in a style that any reader would easily
follow and grasp main points without strain. In other words, the two documents were written in a
user-friendly style. However, the world health organization report takes the format of a book as it
shares some characteristics of a book, such as having a table of contents, acknowledgment, and a
preface. At the same time, Tim's article does not observe these writing techniques and takes the
format of an essay. Tim, in his article, draws its evidence mainly from written books and expert
knowledge on the nervous system and its functionality. On the other hand, the world health
organization report uses research, estimations, and future projections as evidence to make and
support an issue. However, both of these documents, Tim's article on the nervous system and the
world health organization report, uses evidence to prove their points (Zeisel et al., 2018). Tim's
article on the nervous system is a potential source of bias compared to the world health
organization report because Tim only relies on information books and experts to explain the
functionality of the nervous system and fails to relate with real life. However, both articles are
biased because the word health organizations uses future projections that can change with time.
The world health organization report is the most biased and objective. The report is
objective because it relies primarily on neurological disorders, their causes, and dealing with the
disorders appropriately. Personal feelings and opinions significantly contribute to the report's

writing because, in instances of estimations and projections, human opinions are heavily required
to help determine how the trend of neurological disorders will be in the future (Diamandis &
Aldape, 2018). Individual opinions and feelings are often objective and biased because they are
not based on fact but on what an individual thinks about something. Projecting the future based
on current and past data is inappropriate because as time elapses, many individuals understand
the nervous system, the major causes of the disorders, and how to prevent the neurological. With
this information, future projections can be changed. According to these facts, the world health
The nervous system is described as the control system of the body. The neurons in the
nervous system control everybody's activity and help the body respond quickly to any external
stimuli that INS detected by the neurons. No individual can service without the nervous system
because this will render them incapable of doing even simple activities such as breathing (Svorc,
2018). The nervous system is described to have components such as the central nervous system,
which comprises the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. The peripheral nervous system is also a
nervous system component, consisting of the sensory neurons, ganglia, and nerves. The
connection of both components facilitates the standard functionality of the human body.
The potential sources of bias in live science include, first, the involvement of individual
opinions. When developing the website, the involvement of individual feelings can result in bias.
A website developer can leave out vital information on purpose when the individual feels certain
bias. In some cases, information on websites is not correct. Unreliable sources mainly result from
the website developer using the wrong information sources; for instance, when a website
developer discusses the nervous system gets information from sources discussing draught.

Lastly, the use of inappropriate language to discuss an issue is a potential bias. Using
inappropriate language in describing an issue could push away some readers who might find the
