Humans are increasingly influencing the climate and the earth’s temperature by burning fossil fuels,

this refers to the burning of oil, natural gas, and coal to generate energy. We use this energy to generate
electricity, and power transportation and industrial processes, but by doing this kind of conservation of
energy we destroy our earth. Cutting down forests and farming livestock is also one of the reasons of
climate change, many businessmen do this in mountains specially in manila to improved and make one
place to be a city that might attract the tourist in our country, but also by doing this climate change
occur, many places are experiencing now flooding, rising of water in their community.

Many factories produce toxic materials and gasses, like carbon dioxide and methane, are burned and
pumped out into the atmosphere. This adds enormous amounts of greenhouse gases to those naturally
occurring in the atmosphere, increasing the greenhouse effect and global warming. More frequent and
intense drought, storms, heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers, and warming oceans can directly
harm animals, destroy the places they live, and wreak havoc on people’s livelihoods and communities.
As climate change worsens, dangerous weather events are becoming more frequent or severe.

Like of what happened in manila, we also experienced here in Bicol regions the strong storms unlike
before when the time of our grandmother we just experience several storms that was very weak
compered to what we are experiencing now. Mayon volcano is one of our beautiful assets in attracting
tourist, but this is also our main problem when it is erupting and when there is a strong typhoon that
may result a lahar flow, my self is one of the witnesses in this tragedy happened in our community their
so many people died because of this natural phenomenon. This natural causes are volcanic eruptions,
ocean currents, the Earth’s orbital changes, solar variations, and internal variability. Since the industrial
revolution, human activities have released large amounts of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases
into the atmosphere, which has changed the earth’s climate. Natural prosses, such as changes in the
sun’s energy and volcanic eruptions, also affect the earth’s climate.

Scientists have predicted that long- term effects of climate change will include a decrease in sea ice
and an increase in permafrost thawing, an increase in heat waves and heavy precipitation, and
decreased water resources in semi-arid regions. So as human being we need to protect our earth this
are the possible ways that we can do to at least lessen the climate change, we can save energy at home
by plugging out the lights if we are not using it. Reduce water waste, we can splash our used water in
the dishes to our plants at home. We can walk in the morning instead of riding a vehicle or we can use
bicycle. There are so many things that we can produce in our garbage bottles, plastics in that case we
can recycle it to something that we can used to our daily life instead of throwing it somewhere or
burning it.
