Scrum.org, as part of our mission,
provides the highest quality
Scrum training, including the
most advanced training materials
and certified Professional Scrum
Trainers™ (PSTs) to deliver it. The
curriculum and courseware are highly-tuned and
standardized.
Training materials are created and maintained
by our founder, Scrum co-creator Ken Schwaber
with the PST community, helping to ensure that
they are always in tune with what’s happening
in software development organizations and
always up-to-date with the latest practices.
Professional Scrum Courses
Professional Scrum Master™
Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
is a 2-day course where students
learn how to use Scrum to optimize
value, productivity and the total cost
of ownership of products. Tools are
provided to enable students to relate to
behavioral shifts, work with people and
teams, coach and facilitate techniques,
and address the organization.
Professional Scrum Foundations™
Professional Scrum Foundations (PSF)
is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum
by experiencing what it’s like to deliver
products using the Scrum framework.
Working in Sprints, students break
into Scrum Teams fulfilling all of the
roles on a team to deliver a product,
simulating real-life problems.

Courses are provided around the world.
Our PSTs offer public courses and can work
with you to plan a private one to meet your
organization’s specific needs. For globally
distributed organizations, our PSTs work
together to provide training, ensuring that
everyone is learning the same thing.
Our trainers bring their own style and
experience to courses, but all trainers use
the same materials around the world so that
students are learning from the same content
regardless of where the course is taught and
who is teaching it.
Professional Scrum Master II™
Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II)
is a 2-day advanced course designed to
support experienced Scrum Masters in
their professional journeys. This course is a
combination of instruction and facilitated
exercises looking at the challenges that
Scrum Masters face and how the principles
and values of Scrum help them to deal with
those situations.
Professional Agile Leadership Essentials™
The Professional Agile Leadership
(PAL) Essentials is a modular workshop,
adaptable up to 2-days in length based
on the needs of your organization. The
workshop provides a foundation for
the role that leaders play in creating
the conditions for a successful agile
transformation using a combination of
instruction and team-based exercises.

Professional Scrum Product Owner™
Professional Scrum Product Owner
(PSPO) is a 2-day course on how to
maximize the value of products and
systems. Product Owners need to
have a concrete understanding of
everything that drives value from their
products where students learn through
instruction and team-based exercises.
Professional Scrum Developer™
Professional Software Developer
(PSD) is a 3-day course that teaches
all members of the Development
Team how to create high quality
software using the Scrum framework.
Working in a series of Sprints, teams
of students collaborate, apply modern
engineering practices, and use the
Scrum framework to cope with changes.
Scaled Professional Scrum™
Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) with
Nexus is a 2-day course that teaches
anyone involved with formulating,
managing, and participating in scaled
Scrum product delivery. In the workshop,
students use a hands-on case study to
learn about Nexus and over 50 practices
to reduce dependencies at scale.
Certification & Assessments
Each class includes a free attempt at the corresponding
level certification assessment. In your Professional
Scrum class, you will learn the importance of inspection,

Professional Scrum Product Owner
- Advanced (PSPO-A), Mastering the
Product Owner Stances is a 2-day
course focuses on helping experienced
practitioners expand their ability to
establish a solid vision, validate their
hypotheses, and ultimately deliver more
value to their stakeholders.
Professional Scrum with Kanban™
Professional Scrum with Kanban™
(PSK) is a 2-day course that teaches
Scrum practitioners how to apply
Kanban practices to their work without
changing Scrum. Through theory,
case studies, and hands-on exercises,
participants will understand the
importance of transparency and flow
as it pertains to the Scrum framework.
Professional Scrum with UX™
PSU is a 2-day hands-on course where
students with some Scrum experience
learn how to integrate modern User
Experience (UX) and design practices
into their way of working in Scrum.
Scrum.org and its Professional Scrum
Trainers created this course with the
authors of the book Lean UX, Jeff
Gothelf and Josh Seiden.
