1. Who are Entrepreneurs?

- Entrepreneurs are those who take the risk of entering the business industry and provide us with
products and services for daily living. Regardless of how big or little the company is, they are the ones
who organize and run it. They have the inventive and creative mentalities since they always try to
come up with new services or products to sell and create new inventions. An entrepreneur doesn't just
run their own company on their own; it also must demonstrate creativity and show leadership.

activities.
2.1 Name of Entrepreneur

2.2 What they did
 She is the co-founder of National Book Store, the largest bookstore chain in the
Philippines.  During the Battle of Manila in 1945, their store went up in flames and they
had to start over with the stash of hidden books. However, three years later, disaster
struck again when a typhoon again destroyed the rebuilt store at its new Rizal Avenue
location. Once again, the National Book Store was rebuilt with a mezzanine.
 Best known for being the founder of the pharmacy chain Mercury Drug. After the war
ended in 1945, Que bought ₱100-worth of Sulfathiazole pills. He sold these drug in
single-doses and using his savings decided to buy an assortment of medicine which he
later peddled through a pushcart. He would eventually found Mercury Drug in
Bambang on March 1, 1945. Mercury Drug would open its second store in 1963.

2.3 Who benefits


 Everyone benefits from National Book Store, whether may it be a child or an elder,
national book store has books for every age there is. It doesn’t just provide books but
as well as materials that can be used both for work and school where employees and
students can get their resources from.
 Similar to how everyone benefits from National Book Store, everyone benefits from the
Mercury Drug as well because they can offer any medicine every Filipino needs. They
offer the medicines and vitamins that the doctors prescribed and even the simple
necessities in our everyday living, they provide.
