 Socorro Ramos - National Bookstore

 Ramos opened the first National Bookstore, the country's largest
bookstore chain, in Escolta with her husband more than 60 years
ago. Since then, they had established 70 more locations and
employed 2,500 employees. Despite being in late 80s, she is still
working and refuses to retire anytime soon. As what she had said,
“all my life I've never had a vacation, but I'm not complaining.
It's fun!"

 Jose Concepcion, Jr. - RFM

 He is the chairman of RFM, one of the country’s leading food
and beverage conglomerates. Established as Republic Flour
Mills, they have delved into different ventures like agriculture,
poultry, soft drinks, ice cream, fruit juice, and noodles. In an
interview, he emphasizes the need of proper training to aspiring
entrepreneurs so they develop the skills necessary to run a
business; "you don’t wait until you die before turning over the
reigns.”

 Cecilio Pedro - Lamoiyan

 Pedro founded the Lamoiyan Corp., a company that produces
toothpastes like “Hapee” and “Kutitap.” Through this, he made
toothpaste affordable to the buying public. He was able to survive
the industry for his innovative and creative mind and his courage
to fight multinational companies. He and his company received
the “Most Outstanding Program for Equal Employment
Opportunity” award for giving importance to those who have
difficulty in hearing to work in his company.
