to the needs of business and organizations till now.
❏ More Revenue
However, with offices opening up, Slack might become
obsolete and start losing the growth trajectory they have ❏ Overall engagement increases
been up on until now. Slack wants to break its
synonymity with only workspaces and want to bring in
changes in the current app to acquire more users who
are looking for channels of communication.

Assumptions:

Goal : The main aim is to acquire new users 2.Solution catering to global users (No demographic
restriction)
ensuring that the current user base doesn't leave the

Target User Segments

Corporate Employees (25-40 Years) : Apart from workspace , they require a medium to have non
professional conversations with peers and personal workspaces for personal goals and entertainment.

Teenagers (12-19 Years) : Teenagers need a P2P communication system, a platform where they can
talk to peers individually and make groups. They also require entertainment (eg. gaming) channels.
Moreover, towards a mature end of this age group, a teenager requires to have a focus workspace to
organise his goals and future career plans.

Gamers : These are content creators who want a platform to build a community on. Robust features
that are designed keeping in mind the user journey of a gamer and his community is what they require.
Streaming facilities and audio channels are some example features that can be added.

E Learning Startups: These are the people who are enthusiastic about educating people about a
certain skill and want to make a community of learners like PM School. They require a workspace where
they can connect with their community. A workspace that is designed to inspire and ease the learning
process for community members
