2. After you had seen the map, answer the questions. Use adverbs of time: first, after, then, etc.

Example: How I can go from the bus station to the baker’s?

First walk straight ahead on Queen’s Avenue to the north. After that, pass three buildings: the bookshop which is orange, a hotel that is blue
and the newsagents that is yellow. Then turn right on oxford street and walking. The bakery is next to the newsagents.

a) Which way is the best to go from the bus station to your house?
You walk straight on Queen´s Avenue until you reach the corner with Oxford street, then you go up the first street which is High
St and in front of the football pitch is my house.

b) Your friend wants to go to the bank because he needs some money. Explain him how he can go, from your house to the bank.
First you leave my house, go down High St, when you reach the barber take a right and go straight down Oxford Street until you
reach the bank in front of the tavern.

c) After he gets the money, wants to visit the museum. Explain him, which is the way from the bank to the museum.
After leaving the bank you walk left along Oxford Street until you reach the first set of traffic lights, then walk right along Queen´s
Avenue and when you reach the corner where the school is, walk right again and continue straight on, passing the church is the
museum.

d) In the afternoon, you and he are going out to eat at a restaurant. Explain him, which is the way from the museum to the restaurant.

walk to the left onto Oxford Street and continue straight until you reach the bank, in front of the bank is the pub.
