The logarithm of a number to a given base is to the index or power.

The base must be raise to produce the number that is to make is equal to given
number.

E=2.71828

e base log = John nepiar logarithm
The area usage of logarithm:
 To find out simple and compound interest.
 To find out in calculation of sinking fund.
 To find out in calculation different type of depreciation.
 Allowance insurance premium and annuity.
 Other complex calculation.

Logarithm of the product (multiply) of 2 number is equal to the sum of the
logarithm of he number to the base.
