Major problems plague Philippines is agriculture, which needs more priority fund allocation to
raise farm productivity and increase farmers’ income. The issues that people experiences are
growing global demand, climate change, the trade and invest and also high fertilizer prices.
With is, perhaps more public spending is needed on infrastructure like irrigation systems, farm-
to-market roads and post-harvest facilities. The government should also allocate more funds for
research and development (R&D) projects of colleges and universities with agriculture
programs. Lastly, government should spend more on agriculture because you can’t build a
strong economy unless you have a foundation of a robust agricultural sector.

When you conduct your research, it needs to investigate a specific problem and as you study it, your
research has its limits and new challenges arise when you discover something new about your subject. It
end up more questions on your mind and that’s gives you a new problem that pops out. As the word
‘research’ means you are going to re-research the problem you’ve discover because knowledge has no
limit.
means that, in able to start a research you must have a certain problem to
study about and as you study it, there are limitations in your study and as you
discover something new about your topic, there will always be a new problem
that will pop out. Just as the word "RESEARCH " means. RE- again +
SEARCH so, as you search you must search again. Research is a series of
problems.
When you conduct research, you should study a specific topic, and when you study it, your
research has limitations, and new challenges arise when you discover something new about
your subject. It gets you with more questions on your mind, which leads to a new problem. The
word, ‘research’ means you are going to re-research the problem you’ve discovered since
knowledge has no limitation.
Considering the challenges that our country face today, what sector of our government
do you think needs more priority fund allocation for research and development? Why?
The agricultural sector needs more priority fund allocation for research and development it has been
beset with persistent challenges resulting in low farm incomes, low rural employment, and a lack of
food security.
