 (AC-S08) Week 08 - Task: Assignment - Have you ever?

E: Hello Oxanna, how are you?

O: Hi Erick, I'm fine, and you?
E: I'm fine too. Do you know what happened to Miguel?
O: Yes, they took him to the hospital because he got infected from eating on the street. Has
something similar ever happened to you?
E: Something similar happened to me. When I was 8 years old, my parents took me to the
Fexticum in Monsefú. It was 2 in the afternoon and I was hungry, so I bought food and two hours
later I had a stomach infection.
O: What happened next?
E: They took me to a clinic where they recommended strange pills that I don't even know what
they will do, but I was cured. Speaking of which, have you ever bought something unusual?
O: Let's see. A few months ago, I went to the center to buy sunglasses, so I see a slightly unusual
store where they sold medicines that heal everything. It caught my attention because they had an
image of a celebrity. The product was a type of cream and out of curiosity I bought it, but when I
got home and tried it, it was just a scam.
E: How do you fall for such a scam?
O: It's that having an image of a celebrity I thought it was trustworthy. I would like to meet and talk
to a celebrity. Have you ever talked to a celebrity?
E: Something similar. One day my grandparents took me to the Chilindrina circus. She asked for
some children to come down and I ran with all my might and got to be at the show. I ran like never
before that day.
O: You must be good at sports. Have you ever been to a championship?
E: In high school we had a soccer, basketball and handball championship. I always signed up for
basketball, I feel like I'm very good at that sport and that the teacher called me to play. And have
you ever been to a championship?
O: I'm not much into sports. I am a person who likes music. The art teacher always chose me to
play guitar at school events.
E: Wow, how many instruments have you played?
O: Haber, they taught me to play the guitar, the flute, the quena and the trumpet. In total there are
4 instruments that I have learned so far. Although later I would like to learn more.
E: Wow look at the time, it's already late.
O: See you Erick Goodbye!
