BSP CLEAN-UP DRIVE NARRATIVE REPORT

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) (Filipino:Kapatirang Iskawt ng
Pilipinas) is the national Scout organization of the Philippines. Its mission is to imbue
in the youth the love of God, country, and fellow men; to train young people to
become responsible leaders; and to contribute in nation-building. 

It also aims to help the youth develop values and acquire competencies to
become responsible citizens and capable leaders anchored on the Scout Oath and
Law.

Through this mission, the Boy Scout of the Philippines, Malaomao conducted
a Clean-up Drive at Barangay San Roque, Quezon, Bukidnon with the coordination
of the Barangay Council, headed by Honorable Captain Edison B. Bayadog and
Education Committee Chairperson Honorable Lilia B. Buctolan.

This event aims to clean the Barangay Covered Court and Barangay Road to
make it pleasing to the eye, Canals and Creeks to eliminate the clogs and stagnant
water that might cause possible ailments like malaria and dengue. It doesn’t only
immobile to those physical objectives, it also inculcates to the young minds to learn
to love and care our environment and mold them to become a better individual and
future leaders.

This event was not only exclusive to Boy Scout of the Philippines, other
school organizations like Girls Scout of the Philippines (GSP), Youth for Environment
in Schools Organization (YES-O), Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) collaborated
with us to widen the scope of services that we rendered,
 At first, we gathered at Malaomao
Elementary School to evaluate the number of
participants who joined this enormous activity.
After completing the attendances of different
organization, we started to move approaching
to our desired destination. Everyone was
excited while bringing their cleaning materials
like stick brooms,
sacks and
etc.

Upon arriving the venue, heads of different

organizations (BSP, GSP,
YES-O, SPG) started to
command their members to
start cleaning the vicinity.
Loaded with cleaning
weapon, different areas were
targeted like barangay roads, canals, covered
court and creeks to accomplish its goal. Everyone participated to make the job easier
and faster.

After an hour of battling, targeted areas were cleaned, objectives were

obtained and sore eyed areas were eliminated.

Everyone was going home with a smile and bringing the heartfelt fulfillment
that once in their lives, they committed the greatest accomplishment which was
helping the environment at young age.

Barangay officials headed by

appreciated the collaborative effort rendered
by the different organizations (BSP, GSP, YES-O, SPG) of Malaomao Elementary
School.

Through the undying support of stunning and active Malaomao Teaching

Force headed by the ever vigorous, good-looking and talented school head Mr.
Michael T. Pelecio- ESHT-I, dynamic Barangay council headed by Honorable Edison
B. Bayadog with his energetic Education Committee Chairperson Honorable Lilia A.
Buctolan, this event becomes successful and fruitful.
