PRELIM QUIZ

ANTONINO E. AGUILAR JR.

SDP MODULE 1
WHAT IS SELF AWARENESS?
Self-awareness is the capacity to view oneself from the
inside out. Who am I? What do I desire? What matters most
to me? What do I do, and why?. What are my feelings about
things visible to me? Is there a difference in intensity
between my feelings and my responses? Can I tell my voice
apart from my ego? Am I able to spend time by myself?
Self-awareness is the capacity to observe myself from a
distance. How I must look beyond how I see myself and
consider how others might see me. It's me observing myself
through other people's perspectives.

That person you see, who is that? Can I tell if what you see
fits whom I believe myself to be? Do I firmly believe what I
think? Do I feel free to change my mind? Can I admit when
I'm mistaken? Empathy, self-assurance, and creativity are all
influenced by self-awareness. It's the way I stand solidly in
the world.

IMPORTANCE OF SELF-AWARENESS

BASED ON WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED FROM THIS MODULE, WHY DO YOU THINK
SELF-AWARENESS IS IMPORTANT TO ONESELF?

The key is self-awareness. Self-aware individuals contribute

to society and drive change while staying in touch with the
core of who they are. I so advise you to be attentive of
yourself. Make an effort to analyze each choice and come
to terms with yourself. Whatever works for you, whether you
choose to journal, practice meditation, or simply sit in
peace, try to connect with the most basic part of who you
are. Because you can only access the infinite power of the
cosmos and become a vessel of change when you are
deeply connected to yourself.

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE YOURSELF 10 YEARS FROM NOW?

10 years from now, I see myself as a successful person. I see

myself accomplishing my goals one by one and growing as a
person piece by piece. I see myself completing my goal, to
reach the highest level of basketball at the college level. I
see myself having the option to get drafted to MPBL or PBA
as a player. I also see myself as a licensed architect, with
successful projects, and happy clients while doing the things
I want. I see myself pursuing this Youtube content-creating
career I've been dreaming of, ever since the lockdown
season. I see myself taking these small steps, toward the
path I have chosen.

GOAL SETTING

MISSION: VISION:
To train and practice Someday, I will be a
hard consistently, successful athlete,
taking small steps at a architect, content
time and not rushing to creator, father, and
achieve my goals. Investor.

WHAT IS A GOAL?
A goal is something you wish to achieve in a specific amount
of time. It should be both precise, practical, and attainable.
It should be out of reach but doable with effort. You must
dedicate yourself and create a goal if you want to achieve
anything in life. What is not aimed, is not accomplished.

CONSIDER THIS
Goals, give your life a feeling of direction and you are more
aware of the big picture of your life rather than just what is
happening right now. You can discover your top priorities,
your strategic thinking skills, how to solve difficulties, and
how to get beyond obstacles by pursuing goals, whether
they are personal or professional. With the help of goals, you
may make decisions that are truly important to your growth
as a person, your beliefs, and your values. Whatever
perspective you take, goals reveal more about who you are
right now and your progress as a person. Consequently, they
are significant.

Youtube content-creating career I've been dreaming of,
ever since the lockdown season. I see myself climbing
towards my goal slowly but surely.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE THE THINGS YOU NEED TO DO OR ACCOMPLISH FOR
YOU TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOAL/S?

The First would be to graduate, this will allow me to be

eligible for the board exam to be a certified architect. The
second would be to train consistently while balancing my
studies, this will help me prepare for athletic competitions
that I will get myself involved in. Lastly, is to be consistent. All
of these goals would mean nothing if I do them on days I only
want to. The moments that I don't feel like doing these, are
the days I have to.

4. Strong work ethic environment
5. Positive attitude

ENUMERATE THE 3 COMMON BEHAVIORAL ISSUES MENTIONED IN THE MODULE:

Acts of Indecency
Bullying
Unauthorized collection of money

WHY WE SHOULD BE AWARE ON COMMON BEHAVIORAL ISSUES NOWADAYS?

Behavior is what makes us kind and mature, it is what makes
us human. No matter our social standing or level of wealth,
it's one trait we've developed that puts us in a favorable
light. Because that is what binds us together, it is something
that everyone values and encourages. You wouldn't want to
be around people who don't have a positive attitude toward
you or who don't know how to act appropriately. We don't
need folks who would undermine us or treat us in any manner
less favorably than we deserve.
REFLECTION
Integrity is the quality of being trustworthy and possessing solid
moral values. A learner or student should always be honest. A
pupil cannot learn if they are not honest with their teacher. To
effectively teach a pupil, a teacher needs to be aware of his
or her actual level of learning. A student must be honest with
his teacher if he doesn't understand something so that the
teacher can clarify. A pupil must tell the teacher about his or
her struggles. If not, the teacher cannot resolve his issue.

Academic integrity guidelines must be followed by students

for a variety of reasons. Being dishonest about one's
academic achievements, from the student's perspective,
contradicts the very purpose of attending college to learn.
The dishonesty of a student reduces their standing in the
class for those around them. Students who would otherwise
obtain an A in a class with a curve would instead receive a B
if a cheater received a higher mark. Students that are
dishonest harm a university's reputation. In classrooms without
a curve, grade inflation happens. Dishonest graduates from a
university represent that institution in the future. The
corporation decides not to hire students from that university
because of a dishonest student who gets an A in a heat
transfer class but cannot perform heat transfer on the job.
Say a student cheats in a statics class for the sake of society.
He is not made to answer for his deceit. His grade in the
class is an A. His graduation. He gets a job with a
construction company because of the A on his transcript. He
creates an overpass. The bridge gives way. People pass
away. Though a little exaggerated, I think you get the idea.
I believe that modern Filipinos are lacking in Integrity. When
given simple assignments, students become dishonest and
choose to copy them instead of learning from them. Some
adults lack integrity; they are unable, to be honest with
themselves whenever they commit wrongdoing. Some even
become enraged by their ego and take actions that are
illogical and unreasonable to feed their beliefs and ego. And
yes, I am referring to those adults who voted for BBM and still
defend his illogical partying despite the increasing inflation
rate of our country.
