DEVELOPMENT A C T I V I T Y 11.1 My Ideal Family Structure
Abby Shane Fernando
12- TESLA This is my ideal family structure. In the first picture, the family is getting along together completely and having a reunion with all of them. I am always fond of spending quality time with my loved ones, especially my cousins. I like to hang out with them because they are like a friend on whom I can count. My aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and the whole family are my strong foundation and my deep roots of where I come from. At the reunion, most of us really enjoy it because we provide some activities for us to make the reunion absolutely memorable. We play games, talk to one another, and eat together. The most exciting thing the reunion have is the food. Many foods are gathered in the dining room wherein after the program we eat together celebrating the togetherness of our family. Eating together for me is very important because it makes the food warmer and more enjoyable to eat.

12- TESLA I want my family to be able to show their vulnerable side so that the problems they are holding in won’t overflow until it explodes because I know how it feels to have a problem and make it a secret all to my own. So I would rather have my family or relatives show their vulnerability so that I can understand them if ever they are experiencing bad days or even a good one. I want to deeply understand how they feel, simply to empathize with their feelings because family is there for each other in times of calamities, major and minor problems, and sickness. I believe that a happy family and feeling a strong connection with them can produce hormones like dopamine, and reduces stress, burdens, and anxieties. To have a healthy relationship with them can indicate a stable and healthy relationship with them and also be able to have stability within self and healthiness in my mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects. I am very much thankful that somehow my family and relatives are like this. Abby Shane Fernando 12- TESLA They really want to have reunions and gatherings with all of the family clans. We usually celebrate it on the beach because it is a wide place perfect for us to gather and also children are able to have fun in the ocean. To sum it all up, this is my ideal family structure. I chose to use these pictures because it is what resemble my family and according to my ideals. The family structure that is ideal is already in my life, which is my family. I am already contented and happy because of who they are and their roles in my life. We hold ourselves as a strength, a shoulder to rely on, and an inspiration to each other. Because of them, I am who I am now. And without them, I couldn't be here on earth. They are important beings I treasure and forever will be
