AGROME IQ International Sdn Bhd is a Bruneian startup company founded by Dr Vanessa Teo with the
vision of empowering farmers and building communities to create a food secure world through the
development and application of highly innovative tech-enabled solutions in our Agricultural practices.

We began our business operation in January 2017 with our line of business focuses more on
Agriscience, Entrepreneurship and Technology. We work towards people powered and community
based, food system where growers have access to and are empowered to make data driven decisions.
With Agrome, we show that anyone can play a role towards food security and help building growing
community.

Throughout our establishment, Agrome have been working with various corporate initiatives,
government sectors, as well as NGOs to spur the country’s economic activity and digitally transform
the communities.

AGROME MOBILE APP - FARM MANAGER

We provide agricultural business intelligence and analytics to growers by supporting in their
decision-making process. Our technology collects data from farm systems to create customized
solutions and real-time monitoring to increase the overall farm productivity and management. Via our
mobile application – Agrome Farm Manager, this enables farmers to manage their daily farm tasks
and their farm workers, build their farm profiles and most importantly store valuable farm data and
making farm data record keeping to be more efficient.

BRUNEI GAP (GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICE) TRAINING

We provide Brunei GAP training to our local farmers to assist them in
getting the Brunei GAP certification for their produces. Based on
ASEAN GAP, Brunei Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) is a
recognized national standard introduced for vegetable and fruit
crops by the Department of Agriculture and Agrifood, Brunei
Darussalam since 2014 with the aim to enhance the food safety
and food quality of our local Agricultural produces. With the
provision of GAP Training to our local farmers, Agrome aimed to
spread the GAP awareness amongst our local farmers and help
them to increase the quality of their local farm produce and export
readiness to penetrate into the foreign market.

COMMERCIALIZATION SUPPORT ASSISTANCE FOR

LOCAL FARMERS
Agrome also provide commercialization support assistance to
our local farmers not only in getting access to the local market
but also to penetrate into the regional market. We act as a
platform that provides our local farmers not only with various
marketing support but also others potential commercialization
opportunities be it locally as well as overseas.

SPROUT IQ PROGRAM
Creating impact at an early stage of learning, we are proud with implementation of our SPROUT IQ
PROGRAM, our modern customizable educational program that is suitable according to levels of the
young generation to make youth competent in growing their own nutritional food and instilling them
with the values of knowledge, self-reliance, entrepreneurial and sense of responsibility while also
exposing them to hands-on experience on sustainable farming practices. Our SPROUT IQ program
includes Farm to School, Farm to Community, and various workshops that have been integrated into
various international schools, vocational training centers and community initiatives.

BRUNEI GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICE
(BRUNEI GAP)
Brunei Good Agricultural Practice (Brunei GAP) is an internationally recognized standard for good
agricultural practice during the production, harvesting and post-harvest handling of fresh fruit and
vegetables. The practices in Brunei GAP are aimed at preventing or minimizing the risk of hazards
occuring. These hazards covered by Brunei GAP include food, safety and produce quality.
