This report will be giving the information regarding the function of Bhind. Since, a city’s
function can be identified by the type of work the people living in it are engaged in, an
analysis has been made from the data.

Therefore, from the analysis table 1.1 (given on the first page) and the pie chart
showing the percentage of people engaged in different occupations, it can be
concluded that the district of Bhind has 82% of total working population engaged in
manufacturing, 12% engaged in services and 6% engaged in trade and commerce.

Hence, the district’s main function can be identified as Manufacturing as maximum


number of people are engaged in it.
