NOTE :
01) If an applicant is unable to be present at the Consulate for the said interview, he/she is requested to
cancel/re-schedule his/her appointment at least 48 hours(two working days) prior to the scheduled date of
appointment.
02) Please ensure that the appointment letter for the long stay interview bears the current valid passport
details.
03) Applicants will have to appear for a personal interview directly at the German Consulate with all
necessary documents.
04) Handbags, Mobile Phones or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited at the German Consulate and
must not be carried inside!
05) The Consulate does not accept card or cash payment. You will need to carry a Demand Draft with the
exact amount, which can be found on the website. Please check it shortly before your appointment, as the
amount could vary due to the exchange rate.

If you fail to provide a correct demand draft for the visa fees, your appointment booking will become
automatically invalid.
Important Information:
o All visitors (also children) are obliged to wear masks during the whole time spent on the premises of the
consulate.
o Temperature check will be done at the entrance and the same shouldn’t be more than 37.3 °C.
o All visitors are obliged to keep at least 2 metres distance to other visitors of the Consulate. Parents are
responsible for their children in this regard.
o Visitors failing to comply with these regulations will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will
have to re-book an appointment.
