I. OBJECTIVES:

1. To identify the structural parts of the human brain

2. To identify the blood supply of the brain
3. To study the histological features of the brain

II. MATERIALS

a. Reference books, compound microscope

b. Slides: cross section of mammal cerebrum and cerebellum; spinal cord, cross section-
gray matter and white matter.

III. PROCEDURE: observation, drawing and labeling

1. Draw all observation under the microscope: LPO, MPO and HPO
2. Draw and label the cross section of the mammal cerebrum and cerebellum; spinal cord,
cross section- gray matter and white matter
3. Types of neurons and neuroglia
4. Draw and label the sagittal, frontal and lateral view of the cerebrum
5. Draw the circle of Willis
6. Illustrate the flow of the cerebrospinal fluid
