Chapter 4

Conclusions and Recommendations


This chapter presents the research conclusions and
recommendations after carefully analyzing the results of the data
gathered from the respondents, both from the questionnaire and
interviews.

Conclusions
This section presents the conclusions as derived from the
findings of the study and its analysis.

1. Respondents are unsatisfied with their safety and security due


to crimes around the area such as murder and accidents. The
community has also lack of transportations at night, unfixed
roads that are not safe for the travelers, unimplemented curfew
hours and don’t have a day and night patrollers around.
2. The positive situation that affect the life satisfaction of
the respondents in relation to their safety and security anf
physical is having exact curfew hours for minors and having a
community that offers a lot of activities for their social
development.

3. The factors that will increase the life satisfaction of the


respondents in terms of their safety and security and physical
development is the presence of barangay tanods around the area;
and having a healthy and clean environment for their social
development.

Recommendations
After a thorough analysis of the data gathered, and with
the conclusions inferred by the researchers, the following
recommendations are hereby offered.
1. The Barangay officers may consider reviewing their annual
crime situation rate and address the problems identified through
proper programs and services, allot sufficient budget to make the
programs responsive, efficient and functional so as to allay
fears from the public.
2. The barangay officials through the cooperation of school
officials and parents may consider working together to identify
the most efficient programs and services which they can annually
sustain due to its responsiveness to the concerns on the safety
and security, physical and social development of the youth.
3. The Barangay officials, together with the parents, and school
officials may consider seating down together seriously during
their general assembly to discuss and plan for long term
solutions or the necessary actions to be undertaken as voiced out
by the respondents in relation to matters that will increase
their life satisfaction in their community.
