The convention wil highlight the Balik Scientists’ activities, accomplishments, research contributions and the latest in their respective fies, ranging from agriculture, aquatic and natural resources; health; ‘and industy, energy and emerging technologies. It acknowledges the vital role of Balik Scientists in the scientific and economic growth of the Philippines. Part of the activity includes sharing of ‘experiences of host institutions and recognition of Balik Scientists who were engaged from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic up to present. ‘Through this event, the DOST hopes to foster S&T research culture especially among local academic institutions, National Government Agencies as well as industries and private sectors.
