In the case of Corpuz v.

Ramiterre, the Court held dishonesty is defined as the disposition to lie, cheat,
deceive or defraud; untrustworthiness; lack of integrity; lack of honesty, probity or integrity in
principle; lack of fairness and straightforwardness; disposition to defraud, deceive or betray. (Corpuz v.
Ramiterre, 25 November 2005, 476 SCRA 108, 121. )
