Simple Present Tense
Kita menggunakan simple present untuk menyatakan:
Kebiasaan, kebenaran yang sudah umum, dan kegiatan yang berulang.
Example:
 I am ninteen years old
 He lives in London
 I am a student
 Mother always cooks in the morning

Contoh susunan kalimatnya:

Questions (Kalimat Tanya)

Question Word merupakan hal umum dan harus selalu diingat. Untuk
mempermudah mengingatnya kata tanya ini biasanya disingkat dengan 5W 1H.
 Who : Siapa (Menanyakan orang)
 What : apa (menanyakan hal/ benda)
 Where : dimana (menanyakan tempat)
 When : kapan (menanyakan waktu/ kejadian)
 Why : mengapa (menanyakan alasan)
 How : bagaimana (menanyakan cara, kondisi/ keadaan)
 Contoh:
 Where do you live?
 What is your name?
 How are you?

Kalimat Negatif pada kalimat Simple Present.

Kita menggunakan kalimat Auxiliary verbs pada kalimat negatif untuk simple present.
Auxiliary verbs adalah Don’t atau Doesn’t + Kata kerja.
