ABOUT COSTA BELLA

Tucked away in the island of Mactan, Cebu is Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel, where sun-kissed skin,
sandy toes, and spirits as light as a feather are guaranteed. This 1.7-hectare haven is embraced by a
private white sand beach and surrounded by verdant greens that revitalize the soul.

We officially opened our doors to everyone on July 15, 1981, making us the longest operating resort
in Mactan. The main restaurant, La Marina, used to be a beach house where friends and family of
the founders Luis R. Alvarez and Merceditas Borromeo-Alvarez would gather on sunny Sundays to
enjoy the beach and the sea breeze. As part of the founding group of Montebello Villa Hotel in Cebu
City, Mr. and Mrs. Alvarez created Costabella as a day tour beach option for the guests of
Montebello, which led to the construction of 16 family rooms. More than 3 decades later, the 16
rooms multiplied and expanded to a total of 156 rooms, 3 restaurants, and many other facilities that
uphold the homey Costabella charm.

As an establishment steeped in rich history and tradition, we believe that home is where the heart
is. We extend to our guests the experience of being welcomed into the Filipino home, an abundant
place of warmth, comfort, and gastronomical delights courtesy of our three restaurants: La Marina,
Brisa, and Luna. The overall design of our restaurants and rooms takes you on a cultural journey with
its Asian tropical aesthetic with Filipino elements reflected in carved woodwork, vintage-inspired
accent furniture, and local art pieces inspired by the glory days of the past.

Our proximity to the airport, as well as the metro, makes it ideal for a romantic weekend escapade, a
family retreat, or for special celebrations and events, from company picnics to tropical weddings.

view and largest among the suites, ideal for guests who want the best the resort
has to offer. With an option for a two-bedroom Suite.
