Boast in Your Weakness

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Disclaimers

1. Boasting in weakness has nothing to do…with your sins. So Paul isn't

talking about God’s Strength is made perfect in your weakness when you
lust…or when you are disobeying God. When Paul is talking about
boasting in your weaknesses, what he’s really talking about is in 2
Corinthians 12:10 when he mentions dealing with insults for your faith, or
dealing with hardships for your faith…You know…like when somebody is
trying to make you look dumb or when someone is trying to make you
look like a cornball (like you are weird or like you goofy) because you’re
christian. When you start to look like the odd one out in the situation and
so that situation starts to become a hard situation for you.

He talks about persecutions, difficulties, troubles, and so these

situations become pressure situations because you can't do what you
want to do to get out of it, but you still have to be Christian and you still
have to hold on to your faith. So, whenever we talk about Boasting In
Weaknesses, I want you to think about painful situations. I want you to
think about suffering not just for the sake of the Gospel, but also suffering
because it is taking all the faith you have to make it through day by day.
For the sake of you being a Christian and you probably feel like you don’t
do what everybody else is doing, and other people are pressuring you to
do some other things because you believe in christ. And if you can keep
this in mind before we get into the Word, it will start to make sense.
2. The second thing I need us to know is…What is going on in the story.
To really understand the bible, there is a fundamental principle:
Understand the story. If you understand the back story, the context, the
backdrop & what is actually going on, you can get everything that is
going on in the bible. The bible doesn't have to be confusing, as long as
you understand the story.
So let's talk about the backdrop of the story, (Right?...) in terms of
boasting in weaknesses…It's Paul, the Apostle Paul…and he is trying to
help the church of Corinth which He actually built up. He started Corinth.
But Corinth…How can I put it….They wildin’ & they are trippin’. What
they are doing is that people were stuck in their ways. They were flaunting
their wealth in the face of poor people. They’re boasting about their gifts,
their spiritual gifts. As a matter of fact they were morally and sexually
loose and unashamed about it in the church…To the point where Paul has
to check them because there is a man in the church who is sleeping with
his fathers wife…His stepmother. They are just in straight up debauchery.

So Paul says AY YALL… It doesn't matter how much money you got, it
doesn't matter what spiritual gifts you got, it doesn't matter who think you
are in the church, if you are not doing what you are doing in LOVE, it
doesn’t mean anything. And so, they don’t take that very well…they are
not with Paul in that letter. As a matter of fact they reject that first letter
that Paul gives because they want to continue doing their own thing… to
the point where their situation gets worse. False teachers come in the
church (… right?) and they start boasting about themselves.
“OOOOHHHH… We are the Hebrews of Hebrews!”
We got this pedigree …we’re learned!

They put themselves on another level, to the point where Paul calls them
“super apostles. So they’re now false leaders in the church. And Paul has
to tell them if yall think Im a fool, if yall think Im weak, thenImma talk to you
like I'm a fool & Imma teach you some things so you know what the real
 deal is. So If you get the backdrop of that story you’ll understand what the
real issue is…

YOU CAN CALL ME WEAK, BUT IMMA BOAST IN MY WEAKNESS.

IMMA BOAST IN THESE HARD TIMES I’M GOING THRU!

Introduction:

So I have one question and the question is this:

Have you ever experienced hard times while you’re trying to be faithful to
God?
Have you ever experienced hell breaking loose in the moments you’ve
decided to give your life to Jesus?
“Alright Jesus I give my life to you…you can tell me where to go…You can
tell me what to do…Ill follow you…all of that goodness… and then
BOOM!!!
● Satan’s on your back
● Stuff ain’t working right
● Family is acting up
● Everything Breaks Loose!
In my experience as a minister, as someone who shares the gospel
through literature can I just share a couple of things that I have seen? (Lol) So
check this out:
● I’ve had the police called on me, to get out the community…
○ And y’all can get withthis too because sometimes you go out
in the community to get in touch with people and…we try to
do the best we can to connect.
● People curse me out.
● Door slams in my face.
● People let their dogs go after my brother and I.
○ I was just trying to pray…Why do you have to send your dogs
after me…(I was just tryin to be Kind …I was just trying to be a
christian…)...Imma get more serious….
 ● I’ve had people come to their door with guns (Y’all don't want to
talk about that..huh?)
● I’ve had police escort my group and I out of the city because
Christians didn’t want us in their neighborhoods…I didn’t say Atheist
or the World…Christians…Other Christians in the neighborhood
called the police so that we won’t pray with their neighbors down
the road…Christians Y’all…
● Racist trying to scare me…Uhhhh…..Gang Members trying to punk
me.
● People trying to steal the books…
It’s crazy some of the stuff I’ve seen on the field.
But there is always (like) a group of people that try to make you look like a
fool for doing what God has called you to do.
● …Even to the point… where I had somebody say
● “I’ll pay you, to stop doing what you're doing, and come work for
me & I’ll give you more money.“
● People tell you…“AY man…stop pimpin’ the Gospel.”
● You’re a fake disciple!You're a fake Christian!
I can come up with scenarios all day about how the enemy tries to
discourage you…
● Sometimes it’s in your home…
● Sometimes it’s in the church…(”Hello somebody?’)
● Sometimes it's in your job…
And all these situations are made to make you look like a fool. To Make you
look Weak as a Christian….and it’s interesting because Paul now says:
“These are the things I boast in. These situations…These HARD situations are
things that I should boast in Why? Because its in those places that Gods power is
shown!!!!”
And so the question now becomes:
How does boasting in your weakness show the power of God?
I want us to go to 2 Corinthians 12:7-10: [PREACH THE TEXT]

7 To keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in

my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me (Slap me
around) and keep me from becoming proud.

8 THREE different TIMES… I begged the Lord to take it away.

9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power

works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about
my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work
through me.

10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the

insults,... hardships,... persecutions (BOY) ,... and troubles
that I suffer for Christ. For when I am WEAK,... then I am
strong.

I just came to talk to somebody today under the subject:

Boast In Your Weakness!
 This morning my prayer is coming from the last
stanza
of the Black National Anthem:

God …of our weary years

God …of our silent tears
Thou who has brought us thus far on the way
Thou who has by Thy might
Led us into the light
Keep us …forever in the path, we pray

Lest our feet… stray from the places, our God,

where we met Thee
Lest, our hearts… drunk with the wine of the world,
we forget Thee

Shadowed… beneath Thy hand

May we forever stand…
True to our God…
True to our native land
How does boasting in your weakness (In your hardships/ In your sufferings) show
the power of God?

Point 1:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESS
(HARDSHIPS/SUFFERINGS/ THE PAINFUL SITUATION YOU ARE GOING THROUGH)
KEEPS YOU FROM BEING PRIDEFUL! (X2)

EXPLANATION:
Paul says these “Super Apostles” were boasting in the fact that they were
receiving revelations from God and they had visions and all of that…Well Paul
says “I got visions too, but the visions I got God told me that I could not even
share it with yall. SO what he did though was …Instead of me telling y’all…about
these visions…
He gave me a thorn …he gave me a thorn in the flesh so that I would not be
conceited.

In Other Words, because I got these great truths from God, it might take me to a
place where I feel like….Im a little bit better than everybody because
I have the truth…I know some things…God talks to me…
And SO It might just make you feel like you’re a better Christian than everybody
else…
That you are more favored than everybody else and so Paul says God gave
me…although it’s a messenger of Satan… THE BIBLE SAYS IT WAS GIVEN TO ME…
its a passive verb that usually means there is something divine going on…GOD
gave me this thorn!

TENSION:
Have any of you realized any PAIN IN THE PLACES WHERE you once praised God
for BEFORE? Let me tell you what Im talkin’ about…
IOW, You were praying to God and you wanted to get through a situation and
you started singin…”You made a way, when my back was against the wall and
it looked as if it was over”...and you're praising GOD, but all of a sudden…. PAIN
comes in that situation!
● So there is PAIN in the relationship that God brought to you
● There’s PAIN when God gave you that job… that made a way (Right?) all
of a sudden the people at the job start actin’ up (Right?)
● The family that God let you be raised in is causing you suffering
● The Church…The Church yall…when Churchfolk start gettin’ up in your
business it triggers some suffering
And the issue is THIS:
Have you ever been in a place where the PAIN and the SUFFERING you're
going through was ALLOWED by GOD!..OK…
“GOD WHY DID YOU GIVE ME THIS THORN?”
“WHY ARE YOU ALLOWING?…I’M TRYING TO SERVE…I’M WALKING WITH YOU!!!!”
“SO WHY AM I FEELING THIS PAIN? WHY AM I GOING THROUGH THIS SITUATION
RIGHT NOW WHEN I'M THE ONE THAT'S TRYING TO BE FAITHFUL?”
DIDN’T YOU BLESS ME GOD? DIDN’T YOU GIVE ME GREAT REVELATION & INSIGHT?
DIDN’T YOU GIVE ME …THE TRUTH?

…I HAVE A STORY THAT MIGHT HELP YOU DEAL WITH THAT PAIN…
ILLUSTRATION:
So my wife works in a hospital…
You guys know that when you work in a hospital there are certain precautions
and immunizations you have to take, so that way you are not a threat to the
patients you are trying to help.
So one day my wife gets her immunization shots & I'm looking to see if she’s
going to be ok. So :
Day 1…She’s good…MMM HMMM
Day 2…She’s fine…MAP GADE!!!
But between day 2 & Day 3 she’s moving differently and now she telling me her
arm is sore and there is some pain when she moves it around.
I said BOOBEAR…Isn’t the immunization supposed to make you better, why do
you have pain? But then she told me something that preached to me…She said
Boo
 “Don't misunderstand WHY because I’m feeling pain. LISTEN…SHES PREACHING
NOW
The soreness is supposed to signal to you that the medicine doing
what it’s supposed to do.”

CELEBRATION:
I hope somebody is getting the word…
In Other Words… the PAIN… is a sign that the thorn IS working…IT IS working…
IOW, In Other Words in your life, IN YOUR SITUATION, WHEN THE PAIN STARTS
ACTING UP IT SHOULD SIGNAL TO US THAT..
● WE CAN’T DO MINISTRY BY OURSELVES
● WE CAN’T DO RELATIONSHIPS BY OURSELVES
● YOU CAN’T DO THIS THING CALLED LIFE BY YOURSELF

BECAUSE ALTHOUGH GOD GAVE IT TO YOU,

YOU STILL NEED HIM, TO GET YOU THROUGH IT!!!

YOU CAN’T EVEN NAVIGATE CHURCH FOLK BY YOURSELF.

YOU CAN EVEN NAVIGATE CHURCH BY YOURSELF.
AND I DON’T CARE HOW MUCH TRUTH YOU HAVE, AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU
STILL NEED GOD!
I JUST CAME TO LET SOMEONE KNOW THAT THE PAIN THAT YOU ARE GOING
THROUGH IS BECAUSE GOD IS WORKING! GOD IS WORKING THROUGH THAT THING
AND ITS A SIGNAL TO LET YOU KNOW….HUMBLE YOURSELF!!!
BLACK MAN, BLACK WOMAN, BLACK CHILD OF GOD! MY PEOPLE…GODS
PEOPLE… HUMBLE YOURSELF! TAKE IT DOWN A NOTCH!
Let God work in your situation because, you NEED him! And thats the reason that
thorn might be in your life… its God trying to let you know, I just need your
attention…I just need you to come down!
If it wasn’t for this thorn…Paul when he was Saul could have continued killing the
Christian church in the name of GOD until Jesus stopped HIM one day and said
Paul it’s me that you are persecuting…church, leaders did you know that you
can be persecuting people…& hurting people…& going against Jesus Himself
…in the name of God…. and not even know it? Until God Gives you a thorn…
And so Paul says listen…Just so I don't get conceited…even though God has
revealed some things to me …I just need to make sure that I stay in the right
place.
The first thing we just learned is that:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESS (IN THE PAINFUL SITUATION)
KEEPS YOU FROM BEING PRIDEFUL!
How does boasting in your weakness (In your hardships/ In your sufferings) show
the POWER of God?

Point 1:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESS (IN THE PAINFUL SITUATION YOU ARE GOING
THROUGH)
KEEPS YOU FROM BEING PRIDEFUL!

Point 2:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESS (HARDSHIPS & SUFFERINGS)
ALLOWS FOR GOD’S GRACE (GOD’S POWER) TO BE SUFFICIENT (X2)

Look at verse 8&9:[PREACH IT}

8 THREE different TIMES… I begged the Lord to take it away.

9 Each time he said, “My grace is ALL you need. My power works best in
weakness.”

EXPLANATION/TENSION#2:
What do you do when the issue is so painful, the fact that it pains you to the
core? And God doesn't take it away…
What do you do?
What do you do when it seems as if the prayers you’re sending up, God is
refusing to answer the prayer in the way that you want the problem to be
resolved?

TENSION#2:
This is where a lot of us end up because we’re talking to God and we are like:
God…are you LISTENING? Are you there? Do you not see me going through
what I'm going through?
Sometimes is like…we don’t want to be rude, but we like…God are you blind?
Do you not see my situation…Are you ignoring me?
So it almost feels...and let me be real… It feels like rejection!
“God take it away….” oh nah,nah…..you’re good…you good with that…lol
So whats REALLY going on in that kind of situation?
ILLUSTRATION #2:
So about two years ago I got a drying machine and recently it stopped giving
heat. So my wife made the suggestion “Let’s look up some videos on how to fix
this and make this a fun husband wife project because we don’t need to spend
3-400 dollars on something that might be a $30 fix. So we watched it but we
figured out we needed a device to check the electric voltage that the unit
gives out when it is plugged up.
So we got the device to check the voltage and on the box it said :
that the batteries were included.(Right?)
So we open the box to use it, but when we turn the knob to test it out, nothing
comes on…I mean…
● We turn it..
● We flip it..
● We play with it…I just got tired…
So I was like AY MAN the box said the battery was included…
Well at some point I turned it around and I realized that there were some screws
you had to take out the back so once we took out the screws….It wasn’t that
the battery wasn’t in there…it was that the wire that was supposed to attach to
the batteries wasn’t CONNECTED.
And so the only reason why the device didn’t work was
Not because it didn’t have the batteries…
Not because it didn’t have the wires…
Not because there was a malfunction or a defect…
It didn’t work because it wasn’t connected on the inside!!!
CELEBRATION#2:
Child of God, What it is, is that God has set up the situation so that BY YOURSELF it
won’t work… BY YOUR EFFORTS ALONE you will toil in vain.
But it’s when you get connected with HIS POWER,
It’s when you get connected with His GRACE.
(And In Paul’s writings God’s Grace is His Power)
It’s when you get connected with the source…
It’s when you get connected with the things & the resources & the provision he
has placed around you like a pregnant seed that has been placed in the rich
soil filled with nutrition around it, and the seed has to push out it’s roots to grow.
It’s when you let God get connected on the inside, and believe that his provision
is enough, that's when everything will start to work like it should!

APPLICATION#2:
And so Im trying to help somebody who’s about to throw in the towel because
SOMEBODY IS TRYING TO AVOID THE HARD SITUATION, WHEN GOD IS SAYING
YOU ALREADY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN HIM TO GO THROUGH THE
SITUATION!!
SOMEBODY IS TRYING TO AVOID THE PERSON…”Let me just try to walk around
and not….no nono NO NO! God has given you everything you need to make
that situation work!
SOMEBODY IS TRYING TO AVOID THE PAIN …THE PAIN…Eating, Binging
Entertainment,...Go has given everything you need to make it work…
SOMEBODY IS TRYING TO PRAY IT AWAY…Like Paul: GOD TAKE THIS THING AWAY
FROM ME!!! AND GOD IS TRYING TO SAY:
● MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT,
● MY POWER IS SUFFICENT,
● I’VE ACTUALLY GIVEN YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS THING
WORK…
ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS CONNECT WITH ME!!!!
Maybe why the situation isn’t working is because you haven’t connected yet…
Maybe you’ve been talking with the person too much and you haven’t prayed
to God and y’all haven't connected…
What is God trying to show you?

Maybe it's the Word…Maybe you didn’t connect with the word today?
Maybe you were just on Autopilot…Maybe you thought you had it all
good…You were going with the sermon from two weeks ago…that was the last
time you received God’s word?
But today God is saying you need a Fresh Word!!!
Maybe God has given you His provision, but He set up the provision to get it from
a specific person…but you're avoiding the person.
Come On Somebody, I know somebody is dealing with it because the spirit
gave it to me to say.
What Im trying to say is that We Boast in our Weakness when we actually talk
about God in our situation…in our painful situation, thats when God shows up
and God shows out …when we allow Him access, when we connect with him in
the frustrating and difficult places in our lives.
How does boasting in your weakness (In your hardships/ In your sufferings) show
the power of God?

Point 1:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESSES (IN OUR PAINFUL SITUATION)
KEEPS YOU FROM BEING PROUD!

Point 2:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESSES (IN OUR HARDSHIPS)
ALLOWS FOR GOD’S GRACE TO BE SUFFICIENT!
But the last thing weneed to understand this black history month as a people
and go….
Point 3:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESSES
GIVES US THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE OUR PERSPECTIVE OF SUFFERING! (X2)

9b. So now I am GLAD to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of

Christ can work through me.

10 That’s why I take pleasure(delight) in my weaknesses, and in the insults,...

hardships,... persecutions (BOY) ,... and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I
am WEAK,... then I am STRONG.

I hope this is talking to somebody….

EXPLANATION#3:
Check this out…Paul goes from praying to take it away to now…. Im Glad…Im
delighted….I take pleasure?
He goes from BEGGING for God to take it away to now…Imma boast in the
insults, imma boast when someone is talking bad about me…calling me a fool!!!
How did Paul, make the transition from asking God to take that thorn away to
now … I DELIGHT IN IT???
TENSION#3:
Let me just be Real because ….
PAINFUL situations don't FEEL good…
PAINFUL situations don't LOOK good…
IT SUCKS…LET ME BE REAL…IT SUCKS TO BE BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE
So Paul, Why are you talking about DELIGHT?and IM GLAD? Like What????

What helped me to deal with pain and suffering in my life especially when you're
suffering because of your faith, and being a christian, and you look weak…what
helped me was this sermon I heard a long time ago by one of my teachers in
Ministry Dr. Doggette. He was preaching for an alumni weekend in a stadium for
Oakwood University. And He preached a sermon called Wrong Answer.

ILLUSTRATION#3:
And the thing that got me was…it was the story about Hezekiah (right?). And He
said, Hezekiah was about to DIE! (This is 2 Kings… Chapter 20) And He prays to
God, and God gives Him 15 more years. And not only does God do it for him ,
but God says what sign do you want to show that I will do this for you…. HE
moves the shadow on the sundial backwards 10 steps to the point where others
realize there is something going on!
And Babylon decides they're, going to go to Hezekiah to figure out what just
happened.
(By the way, let me just pause here and say…Could it be that:
the reason why other people are around your situation is to see what God is
doing in your life? I just wonder…I just wonder… is that why God just has other
people to come by and just watch what’s going on?) but anyways let me get
back to the story…lol.
When Babylon comes to his house…, instead of Hezekiah talking about God…
Hezekiah starts talking about… the things that he’s accumulated…THE BIBLE
SAYS THERE WAS NOTHING IN HIS PALACE OR KINGDOM THAT HEZEKIAH DID NOT
SHOW THEM!!!!

● His House…”LOOK AT MY HOUSE”

 ● LOOK AT THE SPICES & TREASURE THAT I’VE GARNISHED
● LOOK AT MY ARMY…AND HOW BIG IT IS
I'm trying to talk with my BLACK PEOPLE TODAY!

BABYLON AINT IMPRESSED WITH THAT!!!

And Pastor Doggette said WRONG ANSWER…WRONG ANSWER, HEZEKIAH!!!
Why are you talking about what Babylon isn't even impressed with?
And he got to the point where he said “Hezekiah, Israel will never out BABYLON,
BABYLON!”
Then He moved over to Oakwood and said “OAKWOOD! You might never out
Harvard, Harvard or out YALE, YALE...but the truth is that Harvard and YALE cant
out- OAKWOOD, OAKWOOD!!! WHY? Because God is in your story!!! God did
something for you!!! THEIR TESTIMONY IS NOT YOUR TESTIMONY!!! BECAUSE GOD
HAS DONE SOMETHING IN YOUR TESTIMONY!!!

CELEBRATION#3:
CAN I SPEAK TO GETTY TODAY? CAN I SPEAK TO MY PEOPLE TODAY?
You might not be the most popular people in Brooklyn! You might not be the
richest people in Brooklyn! You might not belong to the Aethist crowds! BUT…
THE POPULAR CROWD, THE RICHEST CROWD, and THE ATHEIST CROWD, CAN’T OUT
CHRISTIAN-REAL CHRISTIANS. WHY? Because God is in your story! God is in your
testimony! God in doing something in you…
APPLICATION#3:
And so the suffering that y’all are going thru…
The stuff that you’re dealing with…
When you look around and start realiziling that HEY, GOD IS IN MY STORY…
You start to realize I’VE GOT A STORY TO TELL!!!
OUR STORY IS NOT THEIR STORY. OUR STORY DOESN’T HAVE TO BE LIKE THEIR
STORY!
And so when you look at your sufferings, when you look at the hard things that
you’re going through, when you look at your trials, when you look at your
journey…when you look at your story… Ask Yourself…HOW HAS GOD’s STORY
BEEN IN YOUR STORY? HOW HAS GOD BEEN WORKING IN YOUR SITUATION?

BECAUSE WHEN YOU START SEEING GOD IN YOUR SITUATION, YOUR PERSPECTIVE
OF YOUR SUFFERING STARTS TO CHANGE!!!
YOUR PERSPECTIVE OF WHATS GOING ON CHANGES!!!

You start to say,

● Thats why God allowed me to deal with this health issue…
● That’s why I was stuck at this point in my life, when I was so focused on
that…
● That’s why God kept me in NY & NJ…
● Thats why God told me to go to Oakwood or the school that he said…
● Thats why God told me to get out that relationship…
● Thats why God kept me in the relationship…
You start seeing things from a whole different vantage point…
And so you start to ask God instead of GOD TAKE IT AWAY…TO NOW…IM GLAD!!!
IM GLAD… THAT HE LET ME GO THROUGH IT!!!
IM GLAD … I HAVE A STORY TO TELL!!!
I TAKE PLEASURE AND DELIGHT IN WHAT GOD IS DOING BECAUSE IF HE IS DOING
IT IM GOOD!!!
AS LONG AS I'M IN THE LORDS HANDS, AND NOT NOBODY ELSE’S HANDS!!!
IM GONNA BE OK!!!
IM GONNA BOAST IN MY WEAKNESSES!!!
I WILL LOOK LIKE A FOOL!
I WILL GO THROUGH THIS HARD TIME…AND PEOPLE CAN LOOK AT ME & THINK IM
A FOOL IF THEY WANT TO!
BUT WHEN I BOAST IN MY WEAKNESSES, GODS POWER SHOWS UP…
GOD STARTS TO MOVE!
GOD STARTS TO DO SOME THINGS I COULDN'T EVEN DO MYSELF!!!

So
How does boasting in your weakness show the power of God?

Point 1:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESSES (IN OUR PAINFUL SITUATION)
KEEPS YOU FROM BEING PRIDEFUL!

Point 2:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESSES (IN OUR HARDSHIPS)
ALLOWS FOR GOD’S GRACE TO BE SUFFICIENT!
But the last thing weneed to understand this black history month as a people
and go….
Point 3:
BOASTING IN YOUR WEAKNESSES
GIVES US THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE OUR PERSPECTIVE OF SUFFERING! (X2)
CONCLUSION:
MARCUS AND THE TWO ANGELS BY HIS SIDE - He was able to go through that
painful situation looking like a fool. But allowing the power of GOD working in
him.

2 Corinthians 4:7-10,15[PREACH!!!]
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this
all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed,
but not in despair;

10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that

15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more

AND ITS BECAUSE OF JESUS WE ARE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF GOD…
