I. Executive Summary

Energy harvesting, also known as energy recycling, is the technique of obtaining tiny
amounts of energy from the ambient environment using various energy sources. Ambient light
(artificial and natural illumination), ambient radio frequency, thermal sources, and mechanical
sources are the primary sources of accessible energy for harvesting. Sensor size and energy
needs are being reduced, and the low power consumption trend in Complementary Metal-
Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) electronic circuitry has opened up new research avenues for
battery recharging using accessible power sources. Harvesters can be used to recharge
batteries in a variety of settings, including industries, homes, the military (as with unmanned
aerial aircraft), and portable or wearable gadgets.

Energy harvesting, in which piezoelectric materials are used to convert mechanical

energy that would otherwise be consumed into an electrical source, is one of the most
interesting areas of research. A study conducted in 2016 pertains to piezoelectric cantilever-
pendulums that harvest electricity by vibration alone. This study is design to take use of the
nonlinear connection between three-dimensional pendulum motion and beam bending
vibration resonance. This traditional piezoelectric consists of a cantilever beam with a
transducer and a proof mass attached; however, in this article, the proof mass is replaced
with a pendulum to improve the beam's motion in different directions and vibration.
According to Department of Science and Technology (DOST), renewable energy resources
in the Philippines cover up for about 25% of the country’s power generation in 2017, which
includes utilization of geothermal, hydro power, biomass, solar, and wind energy.

Most of these renewable energy resources costs much when manufactured and
when sold in the market. Solar panels were one of the most common used renewable
energy in households but it is costly and have limited energy harvesting time.

Electrical Mats (ELECTRIC-MATS) is a device used to place in floor and produces

energy due to mechanical pressure movements such as by walking, jumping and running on
the mats. This device will help to generate energy and can charge your small device like
smart phones and power banks.

Prime Producer is a business company that aims in creating environmental friendly, promotes
sustainability product which is considered to a modern and an alternative energy producer to
homes and different establishments. Our company goal is to help the community and the
environment through the aid of technological products. As time goes by, a lot of different
renewable energy are approaching and present in the society but most of these sustainability
energy producers uses many materials to be able to operate and make the life of everyone
more easier. But then, these will results to high demand of materials and our company’s
product only demand small quantity of materials to be build. Humans were able to create
something significant and notable because of their burning desire and passion to innovate
and discover new things. The same drive and reason were used in developing this company,
in order to contribute to the future.
