schemes on the large decal sheet

was chosen, as this depicted a 1982

with striking ‘Dayglo’ fluorescent-
orange markings. Also included
were comprehensive painting and

would become the L-39, was
duly accepted.
The first prototype flew
on November 4, 1969,
just 15 months after the

Czechoslovakia, which ended

production was rapid, with the
Czechoslovakian Air Force (AF)
