COURSE: Basic 3 DATE: Wednesday 20, 2019 I. OBJECTIVE To make a calendar using students’ schedule. (daily activities) A) WARM-UP Students will watch a YouTube video about routines. After the video, students will talk to a partner and answer the questions. Then I will elicit information from students and written it on the board. Also, I will write some words and its meaning that students may find difficult to understand. B) PRESENTATION I will introduce the topic which is communication. Besides, I will tell students that the lesson will be about scheduled daily activities. Then, I will emphasize that we will use the present simple tense and its usage on routines to make a calendar. II. LESSON C) PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT Students will read a short text about a man describing his daily routine and then students will choose the best answer for the questions. D) PRODUCTION Students will complete a calendar with their schedule for those days that I will choose. I will include a chart with some options they can use and encourage them to add their own ideas. After that, students will stand up and ask two different people about their routines and take notes. Finally, students will pass the ball while the music is playing, and when it stops the one who has a ball will report his/her classmate’s information. E) WRAP-UP I will divide the class into two groups. Then, I will show students some pictures and they will write on the board what is the action using the present simple tense. I will ask students what they learnt today.
