“ETHICAL ASSESMENT”

DOCTOR-ASSISTED SUICIDE (EUTHANASIA)

DISCUSSION

The issue of the right to death with dignity is inevitably linked with ethics and morals.
The law and moral in some cases does not stand in the necessary pervasive
connection, due to the brutal features of some legal systems, although such
phenomena should be as rare as possible. In the instance, we can find another
significant question: could the moral and ethical conduct be illegal, but the act to be in
accordance with the law to be immoral. Law and moral in some cases does not stand in
the necessary pervasive connection, due to the brutal features of some legal systems,
although such phenomena should be as rare as possible. If we start from the basic rule
that the law is only a minimum of morality, thus the moral rules are at the higher level
then legal. In the numerous issues raised in the area of euthanasia, the existence or
non-existence of moral differences between ADE and PAS stands out. Human life is
sacred and it is the work of the God, but human life has a meaning only in a case when
the brain is operational.

CONCLUSION

Euthanasia, regarded as deprivation of life with compassion, as well as PAS, is complex

issues that cause and raise numerous questions. A particular problem is breaking
euthanasia on ADE and PE, and then their different regulation. Morally and ethically,
they are equal. In any case, autonomy of the will of the patient should be an essential
moment. Physicians in Serbia are divided on this issue, but a group that considers ADE
and PAS as ethically unacceptable is a bit more numerous. However, for the better view
of their attitudes we should research on a much wider area.
LEGALIZING MARIJUANA

DISCUSSION

Marijuana liberalization policies have been evolving for the past five decades. Review
summarizes some of the key limitations of studies evaluating the effects of
decriminalization and medical marijuana laws on marijuana use. Suggests that the
responsiveness of different populations to particular laws is important for interpreting
findings from the literature. The Shaffer Commission clearly stated that policies that
simply lowered the penalties without removing the criminal status of the offense were
not technically decriminalized. Depenalization policies merely reduced the penalties
associated with possession and/or use of marijuana, a policy generally known as
depanalization.

CONCLUSION:

The variety of marijuana liberalization policies across the US states is often ignored or
inadequately considered when assessing the impacts of further policy reform. Despite
the widespread state experimentation with alternative marijuana policies since the, our
knowledge of the impact of these liberalization policies on the consumption of
marijuana, and its benefits and harms, is far less developed than one would expect.
There are a number of reasons for this, including, particularly, lack of attention to the
heterogeneity of existing policies, the specificity of the populations examined, and
modes of consumption.Although findings tend to be mixed when we look at the literature
as a whole, some consistent themes seem to emerge when we consider the literature
with an eye toward differences between policies and populations. For example, studies
that are attentive to the development of medical marijuana markets (e.g., through
measures of the presence of active dispensaries or the size of the market) seem to
consistently show a positive correlation of liberalization policies with use among high-
risk users (arrestees, people in need of treatment, and polysubstance users). Similarly,
many studies have shown a positive association with adult use of marijuana, whereas
most have found no association with youth prevalence or frequency of use in general
school populations. The extent to which these findings can be drawn on to make
inferences about the potential impact of legalization on these same populations is not
clear. Just as it took time for researchers to pay more careful attention to the differential
effects of policy elements over time
