I found it difficult in using Vocabulary and Dictions (Choice of words) because I’m
not fluent in using English Language and I’m using Tagalog when I’m talking to someone and I’m
not comfortable in talking or expressing my words in front of many audience/people. But I’m
trying my best to fix my vocabulary and dictions, therefore I’m going to challenge myself to talk
in front of many people so every time that I need to report or present, I can easily express it.
II.
The picture symbolizes that the man doesn’t want to be affected of those things
that many people tell about him. There are many negative effects of gossiping but there are
some positive sides of it. Negative Gossip erodes trust. Those who engage in the practice are
likely to wonder if the group members are gossiping about them behind their backs. And it’s
expected that the person who is its target will find out about it and will probably never be able
to trust their colleagues again. Like what I said, there are some positive effects of gossiping like
people doing something well, had “self-improvement value” for participants, as an example of
how they themselves could do better.
I can easily find that the man in the picture is me because every time that there
we’re issues/gossip about me, I really don’t care or I’m not confronting them because I know
that the gossip is not true. But if the issues were shared in public, I’m going to confront that
person/s because she/he don’t need to tell it in public because she/he don’t have evidence that
I’m the issue. So, I can easily find that I’m like the man in the pictures.
III.
I found it difficult in my vocabulary and diction, like what I said in activity 1, I’m not
fluent in using English language because in my house, we’re using our national language is
Filipino. That’s the thing that I’ve found difficult in performing the activity.
