Our topic for today is all about the story of The Merchant
of Venice.

Before we start, I will introduce you  the author of the
story.

William Shakespeare was an English playwright, poet and


actor. He is widely regarded as the greatest writer in the
English language and the world's greatest dramatist. He is
often called England's national poet and the "Bard of Students: Yes ma’am!
Avon"

Now lets watch this video and later we gonna tackle the 5
parts of a plot in the story Students : Yes ma’am.

so, the title of the story you watched is 


The Merchant of Venice.

Yes, it's a wholesale trade that deals with other countries.

loan provided by a Jewish moneylender, Shylock.

Now, Let’s discuss the use of a plot in the story.

What is the exposition of the story?

Ok, Next how about the Rising Action of the Story? supplying merchandise to a

The Rising Action is when Bassanio and Antonio make a


weird deal with Shylock(a pound of flesh!!!). When Shylock
explains their violent past, we can already predict that Jell: The exposition starts when
there is going to be a major fight between them. For Bassanio asks Antonio for
example Shylock says "You kicked me on such a day. money to get Portia as a wife.

Ok, We will now proceed to the Climax of the story.

The climax of the play is set in the court of the Duke of


Venice. Shylock refuses Bassanio's offer of 6,000 ducats,
twice the amount of the loan. He demands his pound of
flesh from Antonio. The Duke, wishing to save Antonio but
unable to nullify a contract, refers the case to a visitor.
