Project Summary: Architectural Testing, Inc. was contracted by All Weather Insulated Panels
to perform testing on a 120" by 96" Hi Rib insulated metal roof system. The test specimen was
tested for Air/Water performance in accordance with the referenced test standards. This report
includes comprehensive written and photographic documentation of testing performed and a
copy of "As-Tested" drawings.

Test Specimen Description:

Series/Model: HR

Product Type: Insulated Metal Panel

Overall Size: 120" wide by 96" in length

Typical Construction: Typical Construction: The mock-up consisted of three (3) panels
measuring 96" long by 40" wide with one (1) panel cut in two pieces approximately 20" in
width mounted at each edge of the assembly. Each of the six (6) ribs were secured to the
wood test buck with three (3) 1/4" by 6" long hex head self drilling screws with steel and
rubber washers located 4" from each edge of the assembly and centered. A 1-1/2" by 1-1/2"
SW-01 Saddle Washer was employed between each 6" hex head screw and roof panel. Each
of the three (3) panel seams was sealed with a 1/2" by 3/32" thick butyl tape at the rib peak
and Butyl sealant at the interior roof joint. Each seam was secured with four (4) #12 by 3/4"
long hex head self drilling screws with steel and rubber washers - two (2) of which were
evenly spaced between each 6" mounting screw. The perimeter of the mock-up was sealed
to the test buck with Acryl-R sealant.
