1. GENERAL FEATURES OF THE UNIT

The automatic unit VF is an Automatic Unit for:
• Set the front flaps (fly) with J sewing on jeans or casual trousers
• Set Darts or Split sewing on jeans or casual trousers
• Pocket embroidery on the reverse pocket (optional mode)

The head is a programmable machine Mitsubishi PLK -E version 1010.

The high flexible system allows the positioning of the fly to be stitched in a front loading device.
To find the positioning of the fly is very simplify by a metrical bar or reference marks.

1.1. WAY OF JOB – FUNCTION SYSTEM N°2

Put the fly towards the first positioning clamp (1), and after open the little clamp (1) by the BLACK pedal.
The aspiration blocks the fly, while the operator loads the left front panel towards the second positioning clamp (2).
The operator moves the hands rear the reference mark line and opens the clamp (2) by the GREY pedal. The
Carriage moves the clamps (1) and (2) to the operator by the cylinder 16/50.
When the Carriage arrives at the end of the its stroke, by a limit switch, the clamps (1) and (2) are automatically
close.
The clamps (1) and (2) block the material towards the Loading Feeder, this Loading Feeder use the cylinder
25/500.
Now the operator presses the YELLOW SWITCH, on the right side of front loading device and the Loading Feeder
moves the material under the sewing machine. (SEMI-AUTOMATIC LOADER STARTS).
When the Loading Feeder arrives at the end of the frontward stroke, of the cylinder 25/500, by the limit switch the
INNER clamp goes down to block the material. Automatically the clamps (1) and (2) are open, after a delay time,
and the Loading Feeder goes backward to the starting position. When the Loading Feeder arrive at the end of the
backward stroke, of the cylinder 25/500, by the limit switch, the External clamp goes down to block the material and
the sewing cycle automatically begins after a delay time.
In the same time, the clamps (1) and (2) are close, the Carriage move the clamps (1) and (2) to the sewing
machine, by the cylinder 16/50. During the sewing, the operator can charge the fly and the trouser on the front
loading device.
At the end of the sewing cycle, a stacker removes the trouser, free the works plane to allow another loading cycle.
The unit can produce about 2800 cycle in 8 working hours.

1.2. TECHNICAL FEATURES

The unit can be selected on three function systems, through the PAL on the table.
The start of the Loading Feeder can be selected between two different types, AUTOMATIC or SEMI AUTOMATIC
CYCLE by the function system recalls through the PAL on the table..
The programmable machine Mitsubishi PLK E 1010 has the following features:

Machine with set the fly application and pocket embroidery systems
Sewing area (mm) : 230x130
Sewing speed (rpm) : 2500 with stitch length 3.5mm
Point length (mm) : 0.1 - 12.7
Feeding speed (mm/sec) : 100 - 400 (10 steps)
Hook type : Oscillating, with great capacity bobbin, with double oiling
Memory store capability : INTERNAL 47 Floppy Disk 3.5" 150

1.3.SUPPLY / VOLTAGE
The driving voltage is 220v 50/60 HZ for the sewing machine. The current drain is about 0,7KW.

1.4.CONSUPTION AIR PRESSURE

The unit use about 1.9 air litres every cycle with pressure of 5.0 bar on the line.
At the maximum productivity the machine needs of:
9 cycle for 1 minute - 1.9 x 9 = 17.1 litres / minute
430 cycles in 1 hour - 17.1 x 60 = 817 litres / hour

1.5.DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT

Width : 120 cm Length : 140 cm Height : 135 cm Weight : 250 kg
