1. History is the preserved account from the past that still known today thanks to
historians who wrote about the events of the previous century. It also serves as a
reminder of how our ancestors lived and how inventive they were. Historiography
is the study of history, particularly the study of history based on the critical
evaluation of sources, the selection of facts from authentic materials in those
sources, and the synthesis of those details into a narrative that can withstand
critical scrutiny. Historiography also encompasses the history and theory of
historical writing.
2. A source can be any type of item from the time in issue that transmits
information. Handwritten, printed, drawn, designed, and other prepared elements
are included. Books, newspapers, periodicals, journals, maps, architectural
perspectives, paintings, ads, and photography are only some of the examples.

4. Teodoro Agoncillo - Teodoro Agoncillo was a 20th-century Filipino historian.
He were among the first Filipino historians renowned for promoting a
distinctly nationalist point of view of Filipino history (nationalist
historiography).
Gregorio F. Zaide - Gregorio F. Zaide was a Filipino historian, author
and politician from the town of Pagsanjan,Laguna in the Philippines. A multi-
awarded author, Zaide wrote 67 books and more than 500 articles
about history, he known as the "Dean of Filipino Historiographers". He was
one of the founders of International Association of Historians of Asia
(IAHA), and president of the Philippine Historical Association for three terms.
Jaime C. De Veyra - He also served as historical researcher in charge of
manuscripts and publications, National Library and historical researcher,
Office of the President, 1946.
