A. Compare the differences between past animation techniques and current animation
technologies.

In contrast to modern animation, which relies heavily on technology, traditional animation is entirely
hand-drawn and uses physical materials. Past animation creates animation by grouping numerous
frames of artwork and making them appear to be moving, using an earlier technology to edit the
animation's frame-by-frame flow. While, as I've already mentioned, the majority of today's animation
is produced using technology, with all characters created using 3D models and controlled by software.
However, some of today's animation still makes use of 2D animation, though it has been updated to use
software that allows for digital drawing.

B. Enumerate at least 5 and Understand the differences between various types of animation.

2D Animation – It is simply mean its used to create flat characters and environments and one
of the oldest animation styles. And in this animation, each frame is hand drawn which is time
consuming back then with our current technology the 2D animation process speeds up.

3D Animation - is frequently employed for feature films, interactive ads, commercials, and
other marketing products. However, 3D animation isn't always the greatest choice for
straightforward explainer videos and comparable projects because it can be significantly more
time- and labor-intensive.

Stop Motion Animation - One of the first forms of animation, stop motion has been used for
over a century and can be seen in many beloved animated films.

In order to generate the illusion of movement in stop motion productions, producers

photograph motionless items in a certain order and connect these images. Stop motion
animation is a fairly inexpensive animation style due to the absence of expensive equipment
and facilities, in addition to having a distinctive aesthetic.

Claymation - Clay animation, also known as Claymation, is a sort of stop motion animation
that entails modeling clay figures and filming their motions in succession, just like with
conventional stop motion animation.

Given that children find claymation's distinctive, fun look to be appealing, it has been most
frequently employed in classic children's films like Chicken Run. Additionally, it can be used
to make original advertisements and short films. Because it takes so much time, claymation is
frequently best suited for quick undertakings.

Motion Capture - Modern 3D animation techniques like motion capture enable developers to
produce incredibly lifelike cartoons based on real-world events. In the video game industry,
motion capture is widely utilized to provide convincing facial expressions and realistic
character animation.
Dressing performers in suits that track their interactions and motions allows for the recreation
of their activities in computer graphics during the motion capture animation process.
