JAPAN

Japan is considered an island country. It is located in East Asia on the northwest Pacific Ocean. Is
bordered on the west by the Sea of Japan, on the north by the Sea of Okhotsk, on the east by the China
Sea and Taiwan in the south. Mount Fuji is located in this country. It is considered the highest mountain
in Japan. Japanese, Korean and English are spoken there. The official currency is Yen. Buddhism is
considered the main religion.

The gastronomy in Japan is an economic activity very important, in Japan there are several traditional
dishes but the most important is sushi, this dish is cooked with raw fish. Sake is a traditional alcoholic
drink; this drink is usually served with sushi.

In the cultural aspect, Kimono is used in special and important events. The judo, karate and sumo are
the most representative sports. Japan is known to be the manufacturer of the best car brands for
example, Toyota, Mazda, Suzuki.
